Try this, it should work. Connect esc to prog box with programming wire at prog socket on esc, connect usb to prog box and pc, prog box should display connected to usb, fan spins and light is flashing on ESC, no battery is required, PC should detect new usb device, let it install the usb driver, now open USBLink as admin, load my file from pc, dont forget to rename it as described in previous post. Once open, make desired changes, save to pc(for later use), click save to ESC, should see writing progress bar and confirmation in USBLink (and light flashes faster on ESC), when it is done your changes should be saved, can check with program box alone but you will need a battery connected by the balance plug to the prog box. hope this helps and good luck

Try downloading the software again and unzip it to a different location on your pc(must be unzipped before running), if this fails try creating your own test.esc as described earlier, in case there is a problem with my uploaded file. Just to be sure, I am talking about Turnigy trackstar USBLink software from hobbyking. SKYrc program is known to crash as per previous posts by others here, I know of no solution as yet, regards Brendon

Does the blue tooth module work %100 on the toro esc. Looking at purchasing this esc to be able to adjust when boost and timing hits so I won't need to use expo on my radio. Just don't want to purchase an esc I can't program. I currently run a hobbywing SC120 and it works great on my 1/8 buggy on 4S but need to use expo to keep the car undercontrol in the infield. I just want the option to go 6S in the future.

The software did this to me as well, but I figured out that I had named the admin account on my pc and I had to use the named account. I also had to create a pw because it won't let you leave the pw field blank.

Yes the Toro Bluetooth works on both the TS150 and TS120 on both andriod and iphone. But you need to upgrade to the latest firmware. So if you have a older model, you kinda need to flash it with the TORO program card first.

Moderate success with upload communication using your method. However, eventually, the software would simply crash when selecting the "Throttle" tab. I will try again if and when they release some sort of update. I will program using the Trackstar hand-held programming card for now.

Also, I run twin 6000mah 2s batteries as 4s. I set the Voltage Cutoff to Auto and it counts the four cells during power up fine. They say that Auto should cut power at 3.2V/cell. I had to put back 6300mah into my 6000mah batteries when I recharged them! You might want to manually select a higher cutoff voltage to save your lipos. I am going to change from AUTO(3.2v/cell) to a fixed 13.5V cutoff for my 4S setup.

RE crashing: I found this at first as well, but if you click on the DEFAULTS tab in GENERAL SETTINGS(after opening the program) ,the program no longer crashes when going to the throttle tab (on my setup at least). hope hobbyking update soon, maybe we should all raise a support ticket with them at the same time. I will contact them soon and see what I can find out.

Hello

Ive just bought the Turnigy trackstar 150A gen2 speedcontroller. I have a problem, the reverse speed curve is weird. It looks something like this:

Trackstar / Toro 150A Gen II with multi-function program box-reverse.jpg

Where The start (origo) is neutral trottle.

Any Idea what I can do to remove the first peak?

Any idea is appeciated!

Have you reset the throttle positions and does your radio have any throttle curves setup in itself?

not sure on this but the site says it will only work with TURBO or WATERPROOF esc's, if it is not the right one,you might be able to change your order with hobbyking if it has'nt been sent yet,you can try through your account, they are very slow at the moment so you might catch them, good luck

The crappy part about this order is I didnt realize what I ordered until it was in my hands. So I am going to have to return the program card and place another order from the international warehouse for the right card. It was backorder from the US warehouse.
Thanks for the info and great thread.

Trottle positions are reset several times. My radio has no trottle curves.

My radio is a modified turnigy 9x airplane radio (running er9x), maybe that have someting to do with it?

Ill try connecting a servo tester on the trottle to see if i get the same reaction.

EDIT:
I just tried to use the program box as a servo tester. I could not get the esc into reverse. Tried to set the pulse as low as possible, but no reaction :/
