Make sure you're hitting "apply settings" not saving a setup.
Ok I am getting this reset to factory settings still on my RX8 gen2. I have had it consistantly maybe like 4 or 5 times since first post on 12-15-13. I have been saving and reading current settings to verify save afterwards for proper settings. I am seeing this as software issue and currently playing with order I close things out or disconnect wire afterwards of a hotwire session. I have no other issues with anything else and love my Tekin stuff. Great product for me. Any sugestions?

I know it was asked before and mentioned in the post you quoted but do you "save" settings after making changes in hotwire? Or do you "apply" settings?

Yes, you need to update your Rx8's software. What are you on now?

Sorry I did not make this clear. I apply settings then hit ok as prompted then read current to verify the take. Hope this helps. Unless I am wrong saving is just to a computer file.

Thanks

When you make a settings change via the Hotwire you must "Apply settings" to save them in the esc. "Save Setup" is only going to save the currently "applied" settings in the esc to a file for later use.

Randy-

Do you know what the approximate time it takes a service item to be repaired (or probably replaced in my case) is right now. You received my rx8 last week and I have a race this weekend that I will be needing it for and I would like to know if I will have it back before Thursday, because if not, I will have to find someone with a spare.

Thanks

In general it's 7 to 10 business days once we receive it.
