Make sure the cf support rods useage is optional.

As long as the towers are a tough plastic-type material, they'll sell pretty well.
Thanks for the awesome feedback

I'll talk with the engineering team about making the rods optional

+1 to the CF parts being optional. I like a little flex in the chassis to keep rear traction. optional "bolt on" weights might help too

Bolt on weights is a great idea

in other news... i put some STRC CVDs in yesterday, tried to bolt on my wheels (Avid hex set up) and now my zero offset wheels dont fit. Its like they arent threaded far enough down to accept low offsets. anyone else run into this?

LOL! Once I get to the prototyping stage it would be totally awesome to start testing out parts in the real world

It's not the final color just a plastic prototype material. The final shock tower will be in aluminum

I'll need to pick a few colors when we hit this anodizing stage What colors would you like to see?

Yes that's 3D printing, and it's an awesome tool to create a rapid prototype The final shock tower will be carved out of aluminum

The prototype part is used to test fitment to make sure that all of the screw holes are aligned and that the part is as functional as expected.

Based on feedback received, we'll need to create another prototype with a 4th hole option, and a design that allows for an optional carbon fiber rod

Have you checked to make sure that big bores will fit also?

have you checked how much it would cost to make that part from aluminum? I bet it's very expensive. Nothing about that part is CNC Mill friendly lol. I bet to MFG one of those, it will cost you more than the truck itself. The way you have designed that part, it would virtually need a 5 axis mill to complete it (very $$$) when it comes to stuff like this...the K.I.S.S. way of thinking is king....especially if you plan to market/sell things like that.
