There is a large screw in the front and one in the back of the spindle carrier where it connects to the suspension arm. They are different lengths. Short one goes in back.

Take off the tires and turn it left lock to right lock. Does the screw in the backside of either spindle carrier contact the spindle and stop it from turning as much as it should?

Looks like this might be the problem. I put a set of stock plastic knuckles and spindles on and it SEEMS to be fixed. I'll take it to the track tomorrow and verify and have already ordered the aluminum inclined carriers.

I would like some feedback on how well the bce chassis works on the 8t 2.0. Would like to hear from customers, not Bill's cronies.

Hey Rob, I had a BCE 2.0 chassis for a while, it was more of a pain in the ass than anything, with the chassis being more narrow from the Losi chassis, you have to dremmel the hell out of the radio/servo tray to keep the front ctr universal from rubbing so much that it was binding, and also, with a 50t center gear, it was sitting below the chassis, and the center diff has to be shimmed to keep the spur gear from hitting the ground or a stone from killing the engine or gear, also the truck will not set in a starter box the same as with the Losi chassis, so the box stops needs to be changed. Too much to deal with just to make it work. The body post even lined up differently on a Losi body, where stock body holes wouldn't line up, and had to reem the shit out of those to work, stay with the Losi chassis, and don't mess with it. IMO!

Rob, I had several BCE chassis for the Kyosho, they were dialed, the Losi was just a headache, maybe Bill made a few different ones, and I just happened to get an early chassis, I don't know, just saying, the one I had used, I got on ebay, was brand new, never used, just didn't work for me, and I went back to original Losi chassis.

I've ran a bce chassis on my 8ights for a while now. I love the damn things. They have so much more traction then the stock chassis. To me it's a useful investment

Its all I have ever run. Stock springs, 45wt in the front, 30wt in the rear w/ V2 shock tower and shocks all the way out.

Anyone know if the steering rack set (TLR244005) for the 8IGHT 3.0 will fit in my 8IGHT-E 2.0 buggy ?

Some people call it an "ackerman" or "linkage".

I like how this particular part for the 3.0 pivots on bearings, and would love to use it as an upgrade for my 2.0 .

Just finished rebuilding my 2.0 with a bce chassis and I have zero complaints. I would assume the performance gain to be well worth the time (2 seconds) it takes to shim the diff up 1mm. I get to run it this weekend and can't wait!

Everything 3.0 will fit on the 2.0.
