I like the feel of the TLR shock compared to the AE shocks and a little bit of curiosity. Just personal preference I guess, and wanted to see anyone had tried it before I ordered parts.

I would throw factory one bushings & orings in before I messed with buying new shafts & orings from Losi

does the oring mod really help with the front arms breaking? I can see how the oring would help absorb hits, but does it actually work?

If you're consistently banging pipes, nothing will mask a terrible design.
That said, I believe it does help and well worth the time. Also, you can add the RPM T/B4 front bumper. Underneath each screw hole there is a "bevel", if you will, for a countersunk screw. Remove this on the two rear most screws. Secondly, the spacing of the holes is a tiny bit off, but you can "wiggle/angle" the screws.
Lastly, although I havn't tried it myself, Mark ( as far as I am aware is the originator of this mod ) has told me that he feels Durango shock o-rings are the best to use.

I could never bring myself to run the wide rpm bumper, lol. It would make me feel like a basher. But, I think I will try the mod. Its pretty simple, I have calipers and a dremel, lol. I think I will pick up a spare bulkhead anyway, lol.

Does anybody know the part number for the correct Lunsford racing ballcups?

oh, lol. Yeah, I have one of those floating around. probably on my t4. I saw a pic somewhere of the wide bumper on the b44.2, so I guess that was on my mind.

I've thought about this a lot over the weekend and the only thing I can think of that would have THAT much of an effect on ride height is...

lower shock collar being different on one side
shock eyelit not being screwed on all the way on one side
Left shock mounted in inner hole on arm, right shock mounted on outter hole on arm

Since you have checked the shocks themselves, and everything is identical and correct between the two actual shocks.....that only leaves the actual mounting position of those shocks.

mount them back on the car, and be sure they are in the same holes (inner/inner, etc) and check it again.

I'm betting the mounting position was causing the issue.....

Are you sure one of those isn't a front spring?

I don't have them in front of me to take a measurement....but the front springs are quite a bit shorter than the rears...I imagine it would be pretty obvious if that were the case!

I also imagine it would be pretty obvious by feel as well. rear Green springs are 2.00lbs, and front green springs are 3.15lbs. Should be able to feel the difference if that were indeed the case.

A spring difference is totally not out of the question though...

Yea it seems like you would be able to tell on the track for sure. It was just my first thought.

I have this Same issue (Day one) on my B44.2 Rear shocks. Motor side collar always needs to be adjusted 1/8 more then the servo side. I measured both shocks with a with a digital caliper and are the Same. Pistions, limiters, springs and mounting holes all the same. Cant figure mine out.

I tried adding weight but it seems the weight has to be placed on the Corner of the chassis/battery for it to have any effect, to much to for my liking.

Rebuilding my shocks with avid pistons and new internals when the parts arrive. And a Avid chassis too.

chassis not warped. looks even on a flat surface.
