Just to share with you my last race in my country, 5th stage of Northern Chilean Offroad Championship, got 1st place in Buggy and Truggy nitro Classes.

Major challenge of this race was track location, CALAMA is a city located at desert location (similar to las vegas weather) but at 9.190 feet over sea level, so engine tuning was key for the race.

Hope you can enjoy, FULL VP PRO Tires, Silicones, Tools and some accesories on my cars :

Race Recap from this last weekend at the JBRL Round 7 at the Proline Test Track in Banning California.

Was a tough day for Truggy, broke in both heats, only completing one lap in the first one. B Main started well and I was in a transfer spot taking it easy and just making sure I finished the race. Was not to be, as the rear axle sheared off ending the Truggy’s day. Even with the amount of loam on and around the racing line the Turbo Traxx did well at providing grip and had no problem putting the power down from the Maxy Cinco BT.

Electric Buggy went well, I decided to use the Striker Evos as the track was being run wet and maintaining its moisture. They also helped with more lateral traction with outside the groove. I raced hard, but it was not to be as I qualified in the B Main and missed the bump up by one. With the class being dominated by Drew Moller, Carson Wernimont and Adam Drake, wasn't a lot I had for these guys on this day LOL.

Nitro Buggy went well for qualifying. I made sure I put in 2 solid runs and finished 8th on the grid, the top ten being separated by only 12 seconds. The race started off well and I jumped out into 3rd and stayed there until the first set of pit stops. Mis-timing my stop a bit I almost flamed out while leaving the pit and had to nurse the throttle. After the second pit stop I was in 4th, and just concentrated on racing. One of the front runners went out with mechanical and I found myself in 3rd with the 4th place drive and TQ on my rear. The race was intense all the way until the last section of whoops before the last left hander across the line. I knew he was going to attempt to just blast across the top of them, so I decided to play it safe and just maintain a good speed. It worked, he went wide and I was able to hold the inside and finish before him. The JQ worked great all day. With the power and fuel mileage of the Maxy Cinco BT and the grip and traction of the Striker Evos, all I had to worry about was my driving. The traction and power were taken care of.

Next round the JBRL Finals at Hotrod Hobbies in Saugus California.

Want to thank VP Pro USA for all their support, and for the great quality products they provide. Without them I would'nt have been able to partake in the amount of racing I have this year. Also for my Maxy Cinco BTs, finally an engine that I have not had to fiddle with to get tuned, reliable, always powerful when I need it, and knock on wood... not one flameout while racing this year.

If you are asking about a 1/8 truck, then no.

The new VP-Pro USA Extended engine mount for the INTECH BR-6 buggy is now in stock.

Gene Hickerson and Ben Burtle have been testing this 4 piece motor mount all year and it has now been fine tuned and released, exclusively at VP-Pro USA. This 7075 mount stiffens the center of the BR-6 chassis, which prevents flame outs on hard landings and makes the clutch bell, spur gear, and bearings last much longer.
