Go-Tech Engines Thread
Simon Yii is back at GO Engine Co, and is trying to sort out the mess.
Give him some time and things should be back on track again for those of you out there who were fans of the engines before things got silly.
Simon is well aware of the situation distributors have found themselves in, and is looking to set things right for those who are keen to stay on with the factory.
Guess its just a matter of watch this space.

In the past, I was in contact with Robust about ARROW and, last week, I received an email from him on ATOM. it seem he's the sales manager.
The first engine of this new line is a short stroke 3 port.
I wait more informations soon...

There's been video of the Atom running, out for a few weeks now on the interwebz.
I've got a few questions for you all..........
1. Who is the US distributor now???? I would really like to see someone really move the line forward. I have been probably one of the longest running users of GO engines here in the US. I've been using them religiously since Russell was the distributor years ago when they came out with the Gen 1's. To this day I still run them in all my cars and truggies and still talk highly of them to anyone that ask about them.
2. Where would I find any information regarding the HO II plus and the Cera engines?
3. I've never heard of Atom engines. Are they a new upstart company or another re-badging company? Can't seen to find any information about them.
4.What do the "powers that be" say about the resemblance to the arrow and Alturn engines? Inquiring minds want to know!!!

We (Bellgate Distributors) are the new GO distributors for North America. We just placed our first order Monday and I am hoping to have product in sometime next week. So far there are two dealers that are expressing interest in carrying the GO line. I can't say who they until we finalize the arrangements. Bellgate does not sell direct to the public (except in rare cases) so we are going to work on developing an active dealer network. Please contact me if you know of a track or hobby shop that might be interested in carrying GO engines.
The GO factory has pulled the plug on Cera so you will not find much information about them. I don't have the details about GXII+ yet. Maybe Shane or Pato can chime in here?

I believe there is some media to be released soon on the GXII Plus.
To my knowledge the main change is in the sleeve porting.
Crankcase and crank remain the same (incuding expoxy filling).
Looks like it has the GXII 3 needle carb, but i do recall Robust saying something about some mods to the carb at some stage - whether they came through in Simon's re vamp of the new motor I don't know.
New cooling head and the return to a standard head button.
Got some arriving soon, so be keen to check them out.
There is no ATOM website yet.
Its good to see that GO is finally going to release another engine, no doubt it will be a pretty good unit. I really like my modded GX5 engine, great power, easy to tune & holds a tune real well, hardly have to touch it.
This new GXII Plus would be great to try out & have modded as well.
