Im running green in front and white in the rear, I think it is just a matter of adjusting my driving style, my Durango does not have much initial steering, so its quite a bit to get used to. Yesterday was only my 2nd time racing the 4.2 and have really had no real practice time on it. The car feels much faster than my Durango, and I have turned considerably faster laps with the 4.2, but my consistancy is horrible right now haha.

also, does the Avid motor centering kit and top shaft make a noticable difference?

The centering kit is suppose to make the weight transfer l/r the same I made my own esc shelf and it did the same thing top shaft I have one ordered ill let you know about that around Friday

Not sure if I notice any difference with the top shaft but it does seem like my buggy jumps flatter now with the centering kit. I notice before on certain jumps the buggy would get a little sideways coming off the jump. Now even same layout and same jumps it will jump flatter. I did the esc shelf at the same time. Don't know if it was just centering kit or a combination of both or just me wanting to think it is better.

Yea, that's Dutra Farms. We're a small club, not much happens except on Sundays. That's when we get together. We just pulled apart the other track and are going to redo it now.
There isn't any contact info yet. It's really a private club, but we're thinking of opening up more lately. But anyone can come and check it out, we have never said 'Hey you can't run here'.
We're all really easy going there. You should come by again when you get a chance.

I personally would also try gold compound front tires to get a little more bite. They wear a little faster but make up for it with a little more traction.

How's that possible when gold is harder than green? I agree with removing washers under the ballstud. If you shorten the rear link you may want to go back to 1 or even 2mm.

My son and I have just bought a Team Associated B4.2 RTR as a beginners car into the RC world. We are both new to this, so bear with me if this question seems a little simple.

We are just putting the antenna together and have a couple of questions -

1. The antenna length is longer than the antenna tube - presumably we just cut it to size? Interestingly at the end of the antenna cable there is a metal tube surrounding it, approx ~3mm in length. If we cut the wire we would loose this - does this matter?

2. We also have an antenna screw, which is tiny - part 3862 (1/8") set screw. Where does this go?

Do not cut the antenna wire!!! If the antenna wire is longer than the tube, only thread enough antenna wire to fill the antenna tube. The excess antenna wire can be coiled up at the bottom of the antenna mount. You can use a zip tie to keep it coiled together.

That little grub screw goes in the hole next to the antenna mount in the chassis
