For you guys running shorty packs what milliamp do you recommend? I was going to go with 4300 but wanted to double check that it would be enough to finish a 10 minute race indoors. Thanks.

I've had no problems finishing 10 minute mains indoors or out using CRC's 4200 shorties. Tones of punch and nice and lite!

What springs come in the kit?

I'm ordering a buggy but would like to order some springs too.

Thank you!

The new spindle and carrier allow for more steering throw and also are 15 degrees.

All the old diff parts fit. They changed the cut on the internal gears to make them smoother but the old ones still work if that's all u got.

Aluminum rear hubs and the axles fit. Also get the aluminum diff cross pins if u are going for lightweight. I heard they don't wear.

Many thanks. I did risk the diff pins and rear axles already. Jury is out on the hubs until I get some time at CVRC.

I prefer steel as it will be the thinnest so it has the least chance of interfering with the ground. Leadfingerrc makes one IIRC.

I've never tried skids. Maybe next summer outdoor season I will.

Got my new 3.0 E out to JCP Raceways Tuesday night race, man this thing is great. So happy I left Tekno to come over.

Big thanks to Purdue Engineer, RandyJones, and the Weatherholts for the help setting it up.

Pretty successful night for the buggy and myself, a TQ and a win.

I'm looking forward to having the Horizon Hobby Team down here so I can learn more!

Great group of people!

Could anyone post a pic or two of the shorty packs in the car please. Just looking to see how they did the wires at this point.

That is a sexy looking car!

You need to make a longer jumper to connect the two batteries. I roughted all the wires to the outside of the batteries to keep them away from the spur. If you are careful you can route them past the spur on the inside for a little cleaner look but do that with caution.
