Just purchased a used 3.0 e with Tekin gen2 and 2050 and protek servo.
Has only one race day on it. Will post pics when it arrives.
Any thing special I need to look out for or mod when I get it?
I started reading this thread but there are a lot of posts!! Lol

The new X-rings work great. Smooth as butter, no binding.

Has anyone here driven a Mugen MBX7eco that could offer me some real world comparisons? Obviously everyone here will be biased towards the TLR but can someone possibly compare some strength/weakness for each? I have raced my MBX7 all year so far and its been good but I see a lot of local guys slowly making the switch to the 3.0E so I was wondering what the reasoning was behind the switch. I'm waiting for next week to meet my buddy at the track to drive his 3.0E to compare for myself. I'm just looking at my options for next year.

I think that #7 is a typo and should have read, 2 aluminum w gold and 2 plastic w gold. I also thought this was the electric thread not nitro, lol.

Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone has had problems with the axles on the 3.0? I've snapped two in one weekend. Is it just bad luck or is there an after market one out there thats stronger?
Thanks

Do you have a pic. My kit is about due for a front center axle and that's after countless days of racing. Other than that solid as a rock. The kit has hardly even begun to slop out what so ever. IMO the losi kits are the more durable and ware resistant of any 1/8th kit on the market.

My center axles pins are showing some ware. Starting racing the kit in beginning of April.

Same here, gotta love it. By far they are better than the 2.0 design. My kit is absolutely on rails. All I ask for is an optional forward battery tray and I will be happy....

I did manage to crack a front A-arm. I tried to leap a dbl. dbl. and make a 35' quad out of it. Finished out the day then replaced it. TLR plastic rocks!
