That's cool that the cdiff is working out for you, I'm not opposed to it I personally don't feel like I even need the 4 pad vts. Believe me I have considered the cdiff but for now I'm content. I've timed my lap times and last time I checked my fastest lap was within a few tenths of the fastest laps posted from the night after a big event so I'm happy with that since I still consider myself a novice lol. Been doing indoor clay since 95 lol. The problem I have is I choke under the pressure during a race but I kick @$$ during practice.

Sounds like you are doing very well and are comfortable with what you have. I would think there is no need for you to look at the cdiff or other purchased mods since you are right there on speed. Now if the pressure did not get to you and you needed to eek out a few more tenths then by all means I would suggest trying anything and everything that might add that last little bit. I think pressure gets most everyone from time to time. I know when it is a tight race I get nervous and have to concentrate on keeping my steering smooth otherwise I am into the tubes! Lucky for me alot of the guys I race with get nervous when their name gets called so if they are in the lead all I have to do is wait for the announcer to start talking about them and I get a free pass

When you say use a shorty in the center position, do you mean centered in the stock position on the right side or in the saddle cradle? Thnx for the advice.

Centered longitudinally in the saddle cradle is the new way. The shorty mounted horizontally forward has been done since the first year the truck was released, as there was no saddle cradle in the beginning.

Down the middle has the least chassis roll ...
Helps truck remain flat in the sharp turns ...

I think anything with the battery not to the side works better. If you use a saddle pack, short pack up front or the way Wild Cherry has it set up works better then stock battery set up. For me the short pack up front works best of course for others a different set up might work better depends on your driving style.

Is the optional steering rack #91181 a good part to use ?
I have a stock truck, and looking for the best way to set up the truck.
What other parts would I need to use on this truck ?
Thanks for any help

If your looking for a way to improve performance , try some different shock setups(oil/springs/position) it's cheap and easy to do.

Tires will help ALOT, but they are not as cheap. If your planning on racing outdoors a set of AKA Racing Enduros or Pro-Line Blockades.

Sway bars are also a good option

I love both of these tires on an outdoor track. With the SC10 I particularly like either M3 Blockade 2.0 (wide) or super soft Enduro 2 wides on the rear, combined with JConcepts Green Subcultures on the front. The Subcultures up front take away just enough of this truck's overabundance of steering while still being responsive and having great forward bite. Tires are often overlooked as a tuning aid.
