#1187
Ok found that I had the esc in bl fw/rv moved it to bl dl think this is brushless with delayed reverse hope this helps. But I was wanting to look at the setups on tekin site for the rx8 gen2 with the 4300kv pro4 but when I pull it up it opens but unreadable format what do I need to open in.

I think the links now downloading the ESC setup to your hotwire files now so you just open it in hotwire and apply. They used to be a PDF, but now it loads the actual setup for you.
If you look, the link is not in the PDF column, it's in the profile column. Nothing in the PDF column.

Never did the Rx8's have an issue with catching fire, Ya sure the odd one might go up, But Overall Ive seen FAR more CC's go up in smoke than Tekin, As a matter of fact ive never actually seen a Rx8 Melt down due to normal Running circumstances.

The "land hard and catch fire" issue was with the original RX8, if I remember correctly. That was pretty much fixed with the 3 hole case revision, and Tekin stated they had even further protected against hits with the Gen2. I think we should be good there.

On the Tekin website is states:
"Tekin recommends LiPo batteries with at least a 40C discharge rate for 1:8 applications."
What could or would happen if you used LiPo batteries with less the 40C?

Nothing from my experience. I have ran a ton of 20c 4s batteries for practice runs before. Never had an issue. Anymore I use a 55c, not because I thought I had to, just because its what I bought.
