skillsb - im just giving you guys a hard time on this slow friday, your buggy looks great man!
i will post tonight after little man goes to sleep. I just had a battery take out my ESC, Servo and the battery itself (promatch)... so I just replaceed it all and reinstalled. i had the lrp stock spec and now i just picked up the orion r10 pro, the 1313 and a new reedy shorty 65c with the rainbow sparkley colors on the side!. excited to test out the orion and see if it is all its cracked up to be. cant wait to drop it the track! still need to play with esc settings but its pretty much ready to go.
ps. im the second person at my track in 2 weeks that has had a promatch destroy the esc for no apparent reason :/

it puffed all the sudden after one run (not horribly but was never puffed before) , i let it sit for 2 heats then balanced it. no problems at all, it wasnt horrible and ive ran and seen many puffed packs before, i wasnt alarmed by the size just a little bummed out like i said, it wasnt huge or anything. . plugged it in just fine no problems, but when i switched it on a minute later.. pop! everything dead
my buddy had this happen to a new hobbywing v3.1 too.

I think mine are pretty clean and now my Transponder wire runs along with the Servo wire and it's super tidy.

Unfortunately I was running a few practice runs as I was doing final setup and some idiot nailed my car in mid flight and it went tumbling and apparently I forgot to place the foam in the rear and the battery slid back and shorted out on the CF shelf (which I had been meaning to remove) and my car was smoking… Literally! jumped off the stand and it was on fire, which I quickly put out by packing the car with clay. All is perfectly fine with the exception of the battery being a bit melted on the corners by the leads and the FC tray disintegrating to fine carbon threads which discolored my beautiful Neon Green Wire!!! Went to go buy some more and there is no more.

If anyone here went and bought up all that Neon Green Stuff, PLEASE sell me a couple of feet!!! Otherwise will just go with Blue instead.

On the inline pic, how did you solder your wires underneath on the sxx? I thought there was a discussion that that could only be done with the flow

I didn't have a lot of time to test the centerline, but I definitely felt like it was the better one to drive, especially indoor. I was able to carry a lot more corner speed through the corners. You also gotta remember, that when you go to the center line esc, you are cutting about 30-50 grams worth of wire of the esc, which makes your car feel unbelievably light! The final consensus was to run full pack outdoors and shorty indoors.

It's really sucky to do, but I just soldered the A,B,C wires straight back underneath the posts, then the + - wires to the side they were supposed to go to.
