I run 1 thin pad between the shorty and esc. I have my ESC mounted on the chassis, not on the t plate. I also like the weight centered forward like this. My ESC has never moved or been damaged running it this way. 1 thin pad is good enough.
If you want to build a stop I think the easiest way would be to modify the battery brace maybe drill a screw and a nut through it for a stop or add a stick weight to the rear of the brace. I was going to play with that but didnt need too.

hey guys. im having trouble getting my diff together. the axle sprockets that stick out of the diff for the drive of the rear wheels doesn't fit properly. one side slots in nicely into the ball bearing but the other side doesn't fit. it's like tha sprocket is a touch too big to geth through the hole. is it a wrong part with teh car? or should i sand it down as there may be too much paint on it from the factory?

Avid ESC tray now available with either steel or titanium standoffs or available with no standoffs to mount lower. Slide the tray forward for high-bite tracks and backwards for low-bite/blown out tracks.

I just dont see MM as the next big thing, but more of a use it when you need it option. For decades RM has been the standard, and its not like MM is anything new. How many tracks have such high grip you cant run a B4.2? Sugared tracks, carpet tracks, maybe some clay tracks? Looks to me like AE decided to carry the Centro instead of making their own.
