I think AE should sub out the design of the B5 or whatever they're gonna call it to Avid, they seem to been on the fore front of addressing the B4's weaknesses and making solid, useful products for them, not just bling.
Avid slipper
steering crank ( now standard on B4.2)
now the motor centering kit and esc shelves...
pretty cool stuff in my opinion!

Bob, you have some ugly wires. Should work on shortening them. Looks like a fire hazard.

With the K Car, the 4x1.3 Ghea are really good. 4x1.3 almost = 55 so you can try a Losi 55 to save money. Don't know if AE makes a 4x1.3, they didn't when I had my car. The Ghea are tapered though, so keep that in mind.
I also find it interesting that the TLR guys migrated to 2x1.6. The KY guys went to 55's. and the AE guys went to Ky sizes.
Just goes to show ya, everyone wants what the other guy has :P

The SP Rev Pro ESC is nice because the RX plug is external. Very easy to find one the length you need.

I do it all the time. Its not a big deal. Tekin's are very easy. Crack open the case and solder a shorter wire. Done it to savox servo's too. Makes it look super clean and if you move things around you just do it again. If you dont want to solder directly to the esc or servo you can always cut the wire and crimp a new end.

I just buy crimpers, pins and receiver plugs to shorten my receiver wires.
