steering crank ( now standard on B4.2)
now the motor centering kit and esc shelves...
pretty cool stuff in my opinion!
I think Avid should make there own buggy.

Bob, you have some ugly wires. Should work on shortening them. Looks like a fire hazard.

when I ran 1.7's, it was much heavier than that. 37.5 / 35.

With the K Car, the 4x1.3 Ghea are really good. 4x1.3 almost = 55 so you can try a Losi 55 to save money. Don't know if AE makes a 4x1.3, they didn't when I had my car. The Ghea are tapered though, so keep that in mind.

I also find it interesting that the TLR guys migrated to 2x1.6. The KY guys went to 55's. and the AE guys went to Ky sizes.

Just goes to show ya, everyone wants what the other guy has :P

oh dude, those pics are old. They were long on purpose because I wasn't sure where I wanted to keep everything. I never took 'finished' pics.

Here's my current job

you don't need to move the battery! I settled on the ESC in the back, receiver in the front btw.

I would never shorten my leads. it you move things it wont work and it drastically lowers the resale value.

Yea that looks better Bob. I really like how the Kyo and TLR have the ability to route wires clean. I wish the B4 was easier to do that.

I do it all the time. Its not a big deal. Tekin's are very easy. Crack open the case and solder a shorter wire. Done it to savox servo's too. Makes it look super clean and if you move things around you just do it again. If you dont want to solder directly to the esc or servo you can always cut the wire and crimp a new end.

The SP Rev Pro ESC is nice because the RX plug is external. Very easy to find one the length you need.

I dislike shrink tubing extensions, looks like it broke and you fixed it. taking about the servos, esc's and transponders to wire new leads to the board is something I dont feel comfortable with. I prefer pigtails and zip ties , lol.

the kcar has channels in the side pods. so if you mount the esc up front, you can actually hide the entire wire pretty much

+1 to the removable lead on the SP's. I like that a lot. The vipers dont come apart, lol. the case is filled with epoxy

I just buy crimpers, pins and receiver plugs to shorten my receiver wires.

again, that was me testing locations. I left everything long. It was easier to just slap a big tube over it to keep it pseudo neat so I could see which placement worked the best.

You are reading way too much into it LOL. The entire point of me posting the pic was that I posted it when I did this back in the winter and you laughed at me saying no way would I do it.. so I just quoted you saying you were thinking about it

balls were being broken.... or not........

but how do you make them long again? and it still devalues the part if you ever plan to resale. I sell and buy a lot, so its important to me.
