Ae has been busy preparing for Nats & the Worlds.
Maybe when done they will begin to focus on the Sc4x4 ...

I'm just guessing here however.
Could hear something later this fall ...

Shark
If someone was actually beating Ae drivers & winning with a Sc10 equipped with a 3rd diff ?
Then maybe they would look into ....
WC, any team that has the two Ryan's will be hard to beat at the pro level. I am not a pro, but at the local level I do run at some of the more popular tracks here in SoCal (WCRC, HotRods, Pegasus, OCRC, SCVRC, etc) and I am usually the only SC10 4x4 in a sea of Losi's, Tekno's and Durango's.

Gosh if you were kicking it on those tracks ?
You would surely be getting some attention from Ae Shark ....

Disagree & not a accurate statement to say the two Ryan's are dominating Sc4x4.

They rarely even race the class ....

Interesting logic WC ...

So when the Losi, Durango, or Tekno wins (I think that happened sometimes right?), by default you would look into their full on designs then?

Heck, I would just look into the benefits the center diff gives before throwing the baby out with the bath water ...

Again, looking forward to that RC8E with a 2 diff slipper setup any day now WC, heck you can go 12 pads if you need to, more is better!

Hey WC while I was running the SC10 4x4 even against some of the AE drivers with regular team setups I was extremely competitive with my center diff. As far as Im concerned this is the setup AE should have used or at least released as an option. Ive even had BK check it out and like what he saw.

The only reason I put mine on the shelf was because I was sick at the money I had to put into it so I could stay at the level the other guys with Losi and Durengo trucks were at. Mine is fast and I never found a good use for the lame 3 pad slipper in it, other than pulling it out and using it in my SC10 and you see where that went now that the .2 of that is out!

Nope. Im over here on the West side of the Country with Shark. I live on the Phoenix Area, but sadly SC 4x4 is all but dead now here. I go out to SoCal when I want to race now.

Ok then il buy a Ft SC10 4x4 as the indoor seasons is coming up real soon here in Sweden.

Anyone who can share a good setup for a high grip carpet track... .

As read here i think il start whit the 8mm mod and the quad slipper.
Are there any more fixs that i should do before i hit the track.

send me your email, I'll send you the carpet setup I ended up with. You will probably want to up the front diff fluid as I used the center diff on my setup.

My Cdif is on comming and I am itching to try it out because I have tested the following and feel the logic behind the diff is solid..

Stock non vts..
VTS slipper three pads
VtS slipper 4 pads
Exo front locker with 3 pad VTS
AE Coupled slipper caused a push but had better acceleration..

and So far every time i put a part that gets farther away from the slipper IDEA the car gets the punch I am looking for... I feel that I am slipping all the slippers with my tekin 4 pole 4000kv motor..

VTS spring and nut with 2 mm of thread showing...
Is it possible I am not seting this slipper correctly... I am all ears...

want to try garo disk and then the C diff...

The cDiff is a true differential and you don't lose any power to slippage.
