Congrats on the win and the shock limiters being taken out was a good move if u are using them then the shocks don't get full down travel and then they don't become as absorbent as they would traveling further <--- if that makes any sense heehee

Has anyone with an FT SC10 had a chance to drive a FtSC10.2? I currently have a FT sc10 and it works really well but I have been going back in forth on the new purchase but have yet to see one in action or drive one. Has anyone else had a chance to try one and what are your thoughts when you compare the two?
Thanks,
Jacob

no need to get the new kit. just get the big bores and front shock tower and arms and it's a .2, the only thing that you won't have that comes with the kit is the hexes and aluminum steering rack, new slipper unless your already running one or from a different company. the V2 slipper is still great. the difference in .2 and FT is the front shock tower and arms. it moves the shock in a more upright angle which softens the front feel the arms from the original can still be used as a tuning option as the .2 arms aren't carbon.

Hey guys, need some help figuring something out with my SC10RS. I have had the truck for a few months now and it has been flawless so far, made a few spring and shock oil changes and its been dialed. The last time I raced though I noticed when I took off to start the truck kinda sputtered and then took off. I checked it out and everything seemed ok (just looking from the outside and checking electrical stuff). Well now it does it all the time, from a dead stop it jerks and surges and then eventually it will take off and go. Once its rolling it seems to be fine but from a dead stop it acts like something is holding it back. I took the trans apart and checked the idler gear and all the diff stuff and everything looks fine to me. What could be going on here? I'm kinda lost as to where to look next.

Sounds like a sensor wire problem to be honest. Are you still running the stock ESC and motor or have you upgraded?

Did you switch over to a ball diff and or cvd's? Sounds like somthing might be binding up then once the binding breaks free its smooth. Did you check bearings?

Did you just recently change the servo? Or anything for that matter?

If it clicks when you try to accelerate its the gear diff needing some shimming.

Check out Casper-rc.com. Not sure if this is what you are referring to.

Still running stock ESC and motor so no sensor wire issues

Nope, everything is stock except shock springs. I'll check out the bearings too.

Nice work! I looked at bfast again and it looks like they only make it for some of the losi's. Goodto know the exist elsewhere. Has anyone tried the caged thrust bearing from casper rc?

+1 after you check to eliminate any binding I would next look at electronics. Thats why I asked about the servo, because when I first switched from the stock rs to a savox servo I had glitch problems.

I upgraded mine to a .2 the bigest change is with the front arms. It makes it handle much better. The big bores are better but not a huge improvement if u have already done the spring conversion. If u run mod the vts slipper is a lot better then the v2. The .2 is alot easier to drive.

One of the best mods i did was avid springs and pistons. Handles even better.
