Today i took the tq in the a main with my ft sct. i did have the same problem after rebuilding my ball diff. the problem was the shock limiter. i took them all out front and rear for full drop and holy cow night and day difference. there were a lot of losi guy out there. i did come in the 3rd in the first quail. but after that it was all first. i even dropped a tooth down on my pinion from a 28 to a 26. I was able to run full blast though the hole race with out letting go. It feels so good to win first normally i come in third or 4th. this is a large outdoor blown out track that 1/5 scale run on also every weekend. i was lapping these guy so easy i the mic guy all he did was talk about how i was on fire lol. i hope this dont make ego to big lol.
and the shock limiters being taken out was a good move
if u are using them then the shocks don't get full down travel and then they don't become as absorbent as they would traveling further
<--- if that makes any sense heehee

Has anyone with an FT SC10 had a chance to drive a FtSC10.2? I currently have a FT sc10 and it works really well but I have been going back in forth on the new purchase but have yet to see one in action or drive one. Has anyone else had a chance to try one and what are your thoughts when you compare the two?
Thanks,
Jacob

Hey guys, need some help figuring something out with my SC10RS. I have had the truck for a few months now and it has been flawless so far, made a few spring and shock oil changes and its been dialed. The last time I raced though I noticed when I took off to start the truck kinda sputtered and then took off. I checked it out and everything seemed ok (just looking from the outside and checking electrical stuff). Well now it does it all the time, from a dead stop it jerks and surges and then eventually it will take off and go. Once its rolling it seems to be fine but from a dead stop it acts like something is holding it back. I took the trans apart and checked the idler gear and all the diff stuff and everything looks fine to me. What could be going on here? I'm kinda lost as to where to look next.

Nope, everything is stock except shock springs. I'll check out the bearings too.

+1 after you check to eliminate any binding I would next look at electronics. Thats why I asked about the servo, because when I first switched from the stock rs to a savox servo I had glitch problems.

One of the best mods i did was avid springs and pistons. Handles even better.

I looked at bfast again and it looks like they only make it for some of the losi's. Goodto know the exist elsewhere. Has anyone tried the caged thrust bearing from casper rc?
