Car's are basically brand new for every race, no doubt. Towers, arms, etc. They probably replace a chassis every now and then.

I've been using the Protek RC TruShield spray.

My car gets stained from dirt in certain places and the TruShield darkens those spots for awhile. It's not permanent but keeps the car looking fresh. Works well on any plastic. Helps keep dirt from sticking as well.

Air compressor after every run keeps my stuff looking new. The pros use pledge to help keep dirt from sticking. A clean car is easy to work on, so that is how they keep their cars. Rocket science huh?

Um no.

When you have been to several big races with the big names, and you look at their cars in person, you will see that this is just not true. They replace parts when they wear to the point of it effecting the performance of the car. Remember, they don't crash much so things last much, much longer for them.
