My B4 came with Kyosho big bores that had the 5 hole pistons If I recall correctly. The felt good, I just wanted to run something similar to the AE setups so went to 1.6's.

Wasn't it A&E that made the belt tranny for the rc10? I had one before the stealth came out. Flo yellow case and all. I remember going to the nationals the year the stealth came out and try to justify the 90 bux at the track. Maybe I should have got it, then I could have made the g main instead of the m. (I don't remember what main I was in but that whole weekend sucked)

Thanks for the input guys. I actually am going to try a shelf at the same time with the receiver under the esc. From what I have read its not a huge difference handling wise, just cleaner looking.

Bullet Racing in Houston made a belt drive. The one you had was from A&L, Alec & Lane.

Try 81/21 to start with that 7.5.

When you go back to smac with that 8.5 also run 81/21. I messed up this year at the JC nats and didn't change my gearing. It was super hurting on that track geared at my normal 81/23.

On the T4 with a 7.5 for smac use 84/17.

Yep, I knew A&E didnt sound right. Nothing like having drag brake built into the tranny.

Received my LunarRC stuff in the mail today.

Outdrives are 17.8g total vs. my stock 20.8g. There were some metal shavings left over from the drilling process but, no burrs or sharp edges. Recommend a good motor spray cleaning. Built a brand new diff with the outdrives, BFast rings, Casper RC thrust, and Avid carbide balls. Going to break in the diff this weekend.

Also received the idler shaft. Haven't had a chance to weigh it yet, as I don't have a spare stock one.

The steering rack is interesting. It has about 1mm lower ballstud height than stock, and the ackermann hole is roughly in the middle of the two stock. One thing that that is a little weird is the rack is longer than the stock rack. Overall about 2mm or so. This puts the inner ballstud out further on each side, which will effect toe, however not sure what it will do to the steering geometry.

Not going to run the rack yet, I don't think. Will do some testing later on when I'm not more focused on carpet racing.
