i just saw the vids on how to brake in the diff.
but i did it differently so i hope i didnt damage any thing...
i held one tire and with the TH trim i spin the motor very slowly for about 30 seconds and then did it for the other tire.
but i when spinning the wheel by hand i can feel like its not completely smooth like a oil diff in my 1/8 buggy.
is it normal or i need to do more then this as a brake in?

I would do more as I do 5min per side. Use a long Allen to wedge in the out drive so you don't have to hold it and use the radio EPA to keep consistent throttle. While it is breaking in I usually man the BBQ and or grab a beer

I would say break it in a little longer. Everybody has there preference on how to do it, hold it for 5 sec. switch sides, hold for 10 sec. switch sides, or hold for 30 sec. then switch sides. It all depends on preference. I like 15 sec. each side. You did not damage anything so do not worry about that, just break it in a little bit longer. Good luck!

thanks! i did a little more like the method in the vid. but not as much as you did. ill continue to do so.
but im not sure how tight i need it in the brake in and after. i played a little with it so i lost the 1/8 of a turn out setting. do i need it to to turn the motor when spinning the wheel fast or it should never spin the motor?

I am going to try one thing. I am removing the ballast and running a 69 tooth spur to move the weight a little more forward. Im running full size packs so the ballast seems a bit redundant. If i had one area i thought it could have been better was it did push a little. Trust me it wasnt a big deal since like i said i havent driven in a long time. As the day worse on i did find myself looking for a little more mid to exit steering. By the way i will be running blinky 17.5 so that was another reason for removing the weight. Anyone else running without the ballast?

i ran a b4 without the ballast, but havent driven my b4.2 yet that has the ballast

also is the avid slipper that much better than the vts? i have the vts, but might give it to my dad if the avid is that much of an improvement

if anyone is interested, i saw (and orderd) this wing which is made out of polypropilane so it wouldn't brake so easy.

So, give an example of what a car/truck/buggy does when it's pushing. I'm stupid and I don't get the explanation.

Understeer/Push = wider turning radius.

The car will not turn very much on power.

Doesn't look like they ship to the US. Maybe I'm seeing that wrong.

Has anyone run the "Mayfield" rear camber link setup?

shaved u-brace (hole #1 no shim)
C-Hub/Tower (hole "C")

I think that's about as long/low the link can be. Right?

What feel can be expected with this setup?
