Ok conversion question time, my 4.1WC has v2's with BB springs, when i go to get BB shocks, will I just need to find an equivalent piston to match the smaller one and use the same weight oil or will I need to change the weight as well? basically the question is how does one go from just BB spring conversion to full BB setup but keep the handling the same?

why would you want to upgrade to BB's if you want it to handle the same?

I want to make it a full .2 instead of a .1wc with just a BB spring conversion, all I need are the BB shocks, slipper, and updated towers to make it a .2 and theyre all on the way (once I get my next paycheck that is lol)

didn't mean to confuse anyone

I am not really familiar with the Losi parts or spring rates, I would look through some setup sheets, and find one that matches your track conditions, and start there http://www.petitrc.com/setup/associa...dRC10B4.2.html

The point of those upgrades are to make the car go around the track more quickly. Why would you buy anything just to say you bought it?

Losi springs are terrible and pistons aren't too great. I'd run ae springs with some machined pistons like avid.

the losi 56 were money for the small bores, which is what he's talking about. I'd start with 1.6's all around 32.5/30 AE Springs green all around or black front depending on track

I am running 1.6s out of the kit with the kit springs and 32.5 front and 30 rear and it bottoms on the jumps and bounces. The track is indoor clay with high traction. Running 17.5 blinky if that matters. Any suggestions?

What springs are you running and what ride height?
