Raman that looks interesting i take it its a 3 racing conversion do you have any other info on it.

I would not been able to compete with it as we only allow tamiya chassis at my local club i would like to give it a go

That's all I have, it's from a Japanese website.

It's a bit overkill, I like my M06 stock with Tamiya. It has character

Hi Raman,
congratulations on your last results!

The conversion kit is from Eagle racing. This is the company, where I got my Aluminum gear cover from. This is also included in this kit, along with the Shock towers I use.
Guess it, it´s lying here since some weeks, haven´t build it yet.
It´s really top quality, as everything from Eagle.
Only problem (for me) is, that it is the short wheel base, and you cannot convert it without another chassis plate. Wanted to use it in long wheel base.
If you need more info, let me know.

Luckily, I found one very reliable shop, which sells the eagle racing parts:

Matthias,

I owned the ABC goose, which is superior to M06 in many ways

1. Double deck frp chassis
2. efficient belt drive gear box
3. Modular gear adapter that accepts both 48P and 64P spurs / pinion
4. Adjustable droop via set screw on arms

I briefly and looked into making a custom chassis to make it 225, was too expensive.. so I gave up.

This is why the M06's flexibility between 210, 225 & 239 makes it my favourite mini. Plus it has character.

In addition, the trend for the new TC chassis are flex.. everyone is trying to come up with a chassis the flexes more and more.. so the plastic tub is not such a bad thing

Raman,
fully agree on your statements. It´s really a bit of overkill!
I like the M06 as it is with the plastic tube, it´s a Mini.
I ordered the kit as it was quite cheap at the time, and it had all the single goodies as shock towers, battery clamp, alu Gear covers and side plates. They were not available single at that time.
As you say, I would have to make a new chassis to make it longer for my favorite body, so it´ll stay as it is or will be a shelfer with the rests of my R-kit.

Br,
Matthias

Well it's race night tonight at the HobbyTown HobbyPLEX in Omaha.

Time to continue the M-06 domination of the Mini class here!

Thanks!

We run double "Mains" at our track. I managed wins in both mains for the overall win last night!
A different M-06 got the TQ!

We are 10 weeks in to this racing "season" and 9 of those weeks have been won by an M-06. The remaining week was won by an M-03.
There is only 1 week left to this season and the worst that I could finish now is tied for 1st with another M-06 driver.

My setup is very basic. I have the M-06R and I am running basically the kit setup. I even have the kit oil in the shocks. I have added the M-05 ball diff and the M-03 CV axles. I am running 2 degrees of negative camber front an rear with "S" grip tires all the way around.

In case you haven't seen it yet. There will another M06 body available.
The VW Beetle is getting re-released as an M-06 chassis.
