Well, that's quite nice so far, but I'd be pleased if they would do something about the availability of the Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint GTA... ordered mine now 7 months before and only got the stickers after about 4 months. I'm still missing the body and the accessory parts like the grill

Anybody got the same issue?

hm, i ordered the alfa body from germany 2 weeks ago, and got it last week

I ordered at my local dealer at the track I'm always racing and he only got the stickers so far. This can't be it... I see no point in ordering somewhere else if my dealer ordered directly at Tamiya...

Mh, I guess I'll have to write a mail to Tamiya. It can't be that some dealers don't get items and the online dealers do. And everyone wonders why all the tracks are closing...

Just to keep you updated guys,
I am still struggling with the rear of my m-06 .
Still there are the last percents for the Top Setup missing.

Last Weekend i had no chance against the m05s , but luckily finished in 2nd Position. At the Moment i am a Little bit frustrated with my M-Baby

Nevertheless i wil Remain driving the 06 Chassis , just to Show the others that sometimes my Time will come

This is a bit sad, yes, but donŽt blame it to the big dealers. They have high effort and order parts on stock for big money, just to keep everything available quickly. I really appreciate that, when destroying a part shortly before the next race. Modellbau seidel kept me going many times...
Nevertheless we support our local dealer, too, but with other parts like batteries, engines and so on. Not a bad thing for him, as not everyone drives a Tamiya.

DonŽt take this as personal critics, just want to share my thoughts on that.
I went through that waiting for parts in my youth everytime, when my friends and me had contacts and destroyed that Grashopper Chassis completely. That meant waiting for 8 weeks or more sometimes...

Same here - but the fact that my batteries, engines and ESCs last long (batteries approximately 2 years, engines and ESCs longer) he wouldn't get that much profit with that.

No worries, I don't I appreciate other thoughts, otherwise we didn't have much to discuss


Anyway, I keep on waiting for the Alfa, also mailed Tamiya for further information yesterday. In the meantime I'll drive my HPI BMW 2002

Anyway, got an answer from Tamiya Germany today, asking about delivery status for the Alfa.

Short reply: "Officially these parts are not available, neither at Tamiya Germany nor Tamiya Japan."


Well, that's okay so far, but what I'm upset about is that they don't tell the dealers about that. That's not what a company should do to its customers...

Hi there,
Yesterday was a quite interesting practice day for me.
I started with the same setup as i used for my TCS last weekend.
Again the rear was very unstable . So i switched from the beetle to the rx-7 Body ... Man , what a difference ....
Now the Car was really much more stable to drive..
I couldn't believe it before, but can now confirm it
I will Next try my s15 and Alfa guilia Body ...
Let's see how they perform..

I'm thinking of buying the Tamiya TRFs... I only want original tuning parts on mine.

Cool, well i found a crack(and a big puddle of shock oil) in both my front shocks from a collison with the barrier i dont mind orginal shocks for what they do its great. I am going to try these and see if they are a little more durable, i am still learning how to drive and fine tune what shock oil wgt comes stock? I lost my manual.
