Official Tekin RX8 GEN2 ESC Thread
#331
Well unless you download the newest version of the Hotwire posted yesterday it is not there
These are new features in the new version that were not in the previous version. I should have posted it here as well since it is the first official release with software for the Rx8gen2.

We have released a new version of the Hotwire software on our website that improves the functions of the data logging, and has the software for the new Rx8gen2.
There is no update for the RSgen2 esc and we are still using version 238. The initial Rx8gen2 units went out with 236 in them. Everyone should update to the final 238 version to make all features work correctly.
Data logging now has a cursor for exact values at a point and allows you to save and recall data log files. You do not have to have an esc plugged into the hotwire to open a data file for any gen2 esc.

I just noticed this post on another thread and deleted my dumb questions....

Many thanks....

When saving the data log files, can they be exported to a csv or other common format with the hotwire? I'd like to put the data into a spreadsheet and/or database for comparing my runs, etc...

I haven't checked the .tek file, but maybe the data is nicely parsed and you can copy it out if you view it as a txt file?

Many places should have product arriving and checked in next week. There are a lot of backorders so hard to say if any will show as in stock right away.
We do intend to add an export feature for the data logs. Likely a CSV file and you can have all the fun you want with it. We need to finalize a few more things before we commit to a standard format for the data.
