For Traditional Ball Cups like those included with vast majority of kits, the TLR 22 Cups are the best but you also need the ball studs as TLR's are larger.

For the absolute best option you want the Dubro ones. The parts fit firmly with no play and no chance of them popping off and since you screw them tight on the ends there is no play of an sort. If anything the weak link would be play on the bell crank itself.

Which hub apart from C will work with the shaved brace mod?

I only got the A hub at the moment, will it work? My understanding is its the height differences between A B C hubs?

Its my first AE buggy, please bear with me thx!

A and B are the same height. The B hub just has holes in-between the holes of the A hub.

I have used A hubs with the shave brace in the past. Try it and see what it does for you.

I run a shaved brace, no washers with the A hub. That's what it took to bring up rear side bite, on throttle running a pretty slick track.

wrapped up the spring points series, took first going 5-3-0 through all 8 races.

32.5wt/green/3x1.4
30wt/green/3x1.4

orion wts / orion vst 7.5

esc on shelf, thin pad front/thick pad rear - no weights in wts pack

aka ss handlebars all around w/ red foams

i like this shock package - cannot really decide between finnisher and bulldog 2013, as well as wings - PL wings dont seem to hold up as well as jcon wings.

Is that a carpet setup?

running mod, with a 7.5.

if i was running more weight (wts weights added or wolfpack) i could totally see running 1.6s in the rear as a good option too, but with shorty weight i dont feel i need more pack in the rear.

I'm a big fan of the JC stuff. The lexan seems thicker and it seems to last longer without ripping or cracking. Not to mention the finnisher is a pretty sexy looking body.

Looks like you have a chassis weights for balance -- how much added weight were you running -- kit ballast? Anything up front?

IDK what the consistency is like with JConcepts but all the bodies I've seen from them are thinner than the Proline stuff. Proline bodies have in my experience been considerably more difficult to cut out and trim because they are thick. The Punisher body on my T4 is sturdy up top but the sides are alarmingly thin. My old Proline body on the other hand has a uniform thickness all around as does the bulldog on my 4.2.

On my 22 I ran JC wings and they would get chewed up fairly easily but they did last. My Proline wings on my 4.2 have proven just a smidgen more durable.

I tried Avid springs last night. I started with yellow/yellow and the car felt springy. I went to yellow/red and it felt like it had a nice balance but it was too aggressive. Going to play around with them a little more.

I normally run red front, yellow rear when I run a full size pack. For lower grip tracks, our team guys in the Midwest run yellow front, white rear. It's a similar balance but softer overall. Good luck!
