What settings are you using on your flow? I copied this from my other post in the electronics sction. Just got one, having an issue....
Flow works with a Reedy Sonic 4.5 550 in an SC10 4x4. Airtronics MX3fG radio
When I first installed the esc, I drove it without calibrating it to the radio. I was excited and curious... top speed was insane, but super hard to drive slow, as 5% on the throttle was more like 50%. Ran 1 pack like this, for kicks. Motor at 140, esc at 89. I then calibrate esc to tx, and turned "initial drive" setting down. Truck had normal low end feel, but now no top speed. Temps were 100/80. Got passed on the straight by a buddy's RTR sc10rs. Bumped "initial drive" back up, messed with EPA settings, and recalibrated, but no more top speed to be found.
What gives?
Do I need to add boost/turbo/timing for some reason? SXX/550 combo did not need this...

Gearing question that I'm sure has probably been answered (but too many posts to look through em all)
I'm running a Tacon 96M921 4800kv Turn Rating 2D, 4 pole motor with a Brushless Hobbies LT4(120A) in my SC10-4x4. I'm running a 14T pinion and a 62T spur. Temps on the motor don't exceed 150F and the esc about 90F.
I'm new to offroad scene, use to run 1/4 scale NASCAR asphalt oval back 15 yrs ago so this turning right stuff is kicking my butt lol, Any information, knowledge, and or opinions will be a great help

1st
calibrate the transmitter throttle EPA & brake setting's as in the instructions...
set forward , neutral & brake
After you finish , reduce the brake EPA to around 70% or to taste.
Modes
#1 auto brake = 3
#2 feel = 3
#3 torque Timing = 0
#4 boost timing = 1
#5 boost angle = 0
#6 turbo timing = 0
#7 cut off = 3
motor timing = 20 degree
12 tooth 32 pitch pinion

couldn't find the castle thread
i just hooked up my mmp with my ko eurus radio
my problem is the servo glitches (moving left and right slightly by itself)
i did calibrate and bind the radio already
does anyone have this problem before?

More research and I have to ask, what issues are there with this truck really. Most of the videos I have found show that driving skills of many of the people are not top level so watching Max Flurer, the Ryans, and some others show that this truck is performing well. I think the biggest thing seems to be that it is so different that anything else that it takes a while to get a set-up right and know what to change to get this truck to perform the best for you.
I think those that drive 4wd Buggy would like the slipper more. 8th scale drivers would want the center diff. I am starting to think that keeping the truck light and managing the weight balance is probably the most critical tuning item.
Since I won't be able to run my car until late June I will be researching every aspect of this truck to prepare for some major testing.

I run the 4100 reedy, I can get about 10 to 11 minutes on a pack. Keep in mind I run a 540 2 pole motor. George, runs a 550 with the same pack with no problems. We run 6 min quals and mains. You won't have any problems with the 4000!
