Not sure when this model will be back in stock. I have a ready date of May 30th from the factory on this model but sometimes they get done a bit earlier.

What are you planning in running the pack in ? The 6500-60C will be back in stock on Tuesday and that pack for the price offers good performance.

Danny just got the saddle packs today best way to charge them. Do I charge them as a whole pack or do I charge them one pack at a time. I'm using a LRP touch.

Thanks

You can charge them either way but if you charge them as a 2S pack you will be charging only once. This is why we supply the adapter with XH balance connector.

So use the plug you gave me and charge them as a whole pack with the balance plug. What amps should I be charging them.

Best thing to do is to pre-order now and packs are due in on Tuesday and orders will start shipping out on Tuesday.

Best thing to do is to try one of the 6500-60C and see how it does for you. The 4wd SC trucks are hard on packs especially if you have to do 10 minute races.

Maybe some can comment on this pack in this particular application to see if they are having good results.

Yes that is how most charge them as a 2S pack. Use the jumper wire to connect them in series and use the adapter with XH connector. So you plug the 2mm male balance connector into the 2mm female on the jumper wire.

For charge rates I believe 2C gives a great balance between speed and a good charge. In this case 12 amps would be good as this is just a bit over 2C.

What low voltage cut off do you recommend for 4wd sc 2S? 3.2 per cell ok? I've some are running higher to prevent puffing.

I believe under 3.4v per cell your going to low. The flight guys who have been using Lipos for many years never use more than 80% of packs mAh. I believe 3.4v per cell would leave around 10 to 20% of the packs mAh left in the pack depending on the amp draw and how accurately the ESC measures voltage.

Last summer myself and 2 of my friends all ran SC10 4x4 trucks with Tekin Pro4 4600 motors and had no problems making 10 minutes with warm up laps on a 1/8 scale track. We all ran 5100 Nano Tech packs which are garbage compared to the SMC packs. Don't think a 6500 SMC would have any issues whatsoever making that mark.
This summer running the same motor in a new Tekno SCT410 . . . . . . . but with SMC lipos.

Anyone take one of these packs apart yet? I had to to replace one of the bullet connectors and I was surprised to find the gauge of wire used was not as advertised. Anyone else run into this or it just an anomaly?
