that and the shock tools are ok. I dont use much of the rest.

Wow - I can't beleive they still have that shock o ring plunger thing. I remember that from my RC10T! I just built all the SC10.2 shocks by hand - just hand Tightening all the caps. Worked fine. Coming apart might be a different story.

I hand tighten mine to. But sometimes the cap is stubborn and I use the tool that goes around the hex to give me a better grip. lol, I broke my shock tightning tool last night for my rb6. And you cant hand tighten it. So I get to buy a fancy non pedestrian tool to replace it....yippy....not. At least the b4 tools are useable

Be careful. I did it by hand on my son's RB5 and as I was getting it dialed in for him, something changed dramatically in the rear and when I brought it in I noticed the right rear cap had unscrewed and dumped all the fluid all over the place. Thankfully it happened just a few corners before pit lane so it didn't take any big jumps but it was full of clay. Tore it apart and washed it thoroughly with the hose to ensure no debris was on anything and then rebuilt it using the tools. haven't had an issue since.

Lesson learned.

lol, I have an rb6 and I hand tighten then and it leaked. The b4, you can hand tighten and be fine. Different shocks and all.

If your slipper is too tight it won't allow you to hand tighten the shocks properly. Always check your slipper before messing with the shocks

One of my V2 shocks is sucking air. I can tell by that odd squeaking sound it makes. How do I fix it?

rebleed. If you think the seals are bad replace the orings and the shock cap seals. I have BB shocks. they always pull air, so I just rebleed them weekly and change the oil when contaminated

Thanks, Wildcat. Sooooooo...... BBs always suck air....... isn't that a shame! For $100 you'd think they could make a seal that would actuall "seal".

my kyosho BB shocks are also sucking air...... and they leak... so yeah.

My BB's on all my kits have been great since using 3 of the limiters in place of the included center bushing. I would like to try the Factory One bushing too.

try the TRL22 shock seal kit, specifically the small brass washer in place of the pink assoc seal on the bleed screw. i was told of this at the track and seems to work fine.
