So I found that before I broke my servo saver 2 times in 1 one night.
That my truck now flys even and it forgives me taking off the jump without letting off the gas now. I have the TC6 weights but haven't installed them yet. I just had to repair my flotek body from a crack across the wheel fender and decided to fix a starting crack on the other side. As a result equal amounts of shoo goo and drywall mesh were used. So as a result my nose is more heavy without having to add any weight and with my exotek chassis I've been able to push heavier trucks over when they hit me. Now to figure out why I keep breaking the servo saver pieces that fit together on the rod that the little nut threads down 1mm of thread showing. I called associated and they said to loosen the nut a thread as it might be too tight.

Is anyone running an LRP iX8 with 550 can motors and 2cell? I sent mine in twice to fix a stuttering problem and AE said it was fine both times. If I run it with a glitch buster in the Rx its ok but without it the truck stutters under load (take off and after braking). Just wondering if anyone else has run in to this.
usually when a glitch capacitor or an external BEC is being used to cure the issue, the internal BEC can't keep up with the demands being placed on it by the servo from what I have seen.
with the vehicle up on a stand, giving it throttle and moving the steering rapidly, you can at times see it cut out if it is an issue. This is what I saw when I put my trusty MMP into my sc10 4x4 before going all speed passion. Before, no issues with it in 4S 1/8 buggy usage, drop it into 2S usage and had a problem.
However, I did notice this on towerhobbies description when I was looking to see what your BEC is rated at:
Curious if you are having issues related to this?

Team Associated says they are working on a software update that will allow this ESC to work with 2S LiPo batteries. Contact them for further information.
Does everyone else glue their clicker to the pully like I did?
How much weight are people putting in the nose? I could use low speed rotation, heck on our clay track I can't even get it to rotate by hitting the brakes, mid to high speed steering is pretty good though. Running mostly kit setup, white springs all around, mid on tower, out on lower for shocks, and using the forward hole in the rack. I'm considering trying stiffer rear springs, maybe shorter rear link as well.

Maybe we can swap radios and see what each truck is doing differently so as to compare notes.

So, after attemting to race last night I found the Glitch Buster was not actually fixing the problem. Despite what AE keeps telling me about this Ix8... ! I have frigging had it with these clowns and LRP products in general.
I will send it in again and try to convince them, maybe a video of it not working.
I currently have an LRP X12 motor that never worked properly out of the box as well as my 6 SXX's that have been fixed/upgraded.
End Rant.
