Sorry but it just seems like some have zero issue with nose diving and others have tuned everything possible to get rid of it...and you've gotta think that if you're tuning for something that happens off the face of a jump that you're not tuning for the rest of the track....I use throttle control myself...not something I had to change with my driving style at all...if you can't level the truck in the air then try adding a tooth on the pinion if you can.

But again, sorry for not understanding. I've never had a nose dive problem with any kit ever.

Edit. I guess it could be poorly built/groomed tracks causing it maybe?

The only problems I ever had driving my truck on our local track was all in my driving. Once I got that figured out I have had no problems on the jumps.

not that i tuned for just the jump, but i also like a bit stiffer set-up. feels stable and consistent to me. and when i say stiff i don't mean STIFF!! lol but doing certain jumps at big tracks that can buck you and flip you over really hurts lap times. the red i'm using really isn't that stiff. some are using an even stiffer rate spring from other manufacturers. i am also using fioroni pistons which has also helped. i wish that going up a pinion would, help but with the force of the bucking action, i dont think there is any pinion that would alleviate that. for me only stiffer oil and spring (stiffer spring so i keep same amount of rebound as the lighter oils), and the battery mod has eliminated all of it. and the car feels amazing!!!! very planted, i haven't really lost anything else anywhere on the track except a lil roll, which is easily fixed with other adjustments........if anything what i have done has made me alot faster and consistent, it compliments my driving style ........to each his own

It's Alive... finally done with building the beast, cant wait to hit practice Tuesday and racing it's first Outdoor race this coming weekend. Now the real fun comes with tuning and setup, LOL

It was definately a fun build and went smoothly, I really like the quality of everything and especially having to only need 2, maybe 3 hex bits at the most for everything.

I'm racing at a large outdoor track tomorrow. As I said a few pages back, there's a couple jumps where the truck nosedives badly. Obviously by tomorrow I can't replace springs with stiffer ones because I don't have any. Are there any setup adjustments I can make that will help me get by tomorrow?

All

Currently have a mugen mbx6 Eco and the mip scte. Both great but have way different handling characteristics. For those who own the eb48 and sct410, do they handle with any similar characteristics or are they just flat out different? I may be asking for too much I know.

I think they are close...if they were set up the same and weighed roughly the same I bet they would be nearly identical. They both drive like 1/9th scale buggies lol....right in between a 1/10 and 1/8 imo

Truck drives a lot like my EB48 does. It isnt quite as nimble in the air, but driving is very close.

Please don't laugh...did not think I would get my motor and esc ready this weekend and my servo horn is in the mail. Anyways, I read a mod on this and the attached is how I interpreted. I am more antsy than anything to put it on the track but willing to wait if this mod will not work. Appreciate your two cents guys! Good and bad. Thanks!
