For the record, let me say that all the shock talk isn't to come across negative or even deter anyone from purchasing this buggy. The BR-6 is a serious contender on many levels and is sweet to drive. Everyone plays with shocks regardless of the car. It's just who we are and what we do.
Sometimes a thread like this can really get blown way out of shape and it can happen really quick. The Intech has made me faster and more consistent and I can say the same of David Osborne. Aaron Gillispie who was running Losi (which is a good car) made the switch to Intech and likes the way it does everything over the Losi and I for one can say he looks much better. The guy's mentioned are active on this thread. Feel free to ask them.
Itech has gotten pretty big in this area and all the cars do well when the results count, however we all like to play with springs and shocks just like we did on previous cars. We're all looking for those fast laps.

So, with all this being said, I just wanted to let those who may be viewing this thread that we do not have issues, we just like to tinker.

This car is one of the best driving cars I've ever drove and feel its consistency has helped my results. Our shock talk has just been to help everyone running the car and get it to its maximum potential.Anyone that has drove the car or watched the car has been impressed.we are just looking for the best all around setup to help all intech drivers.

+1. Could not have said it any better. The car is great. All the shock talk I have been saying is just to fine tune to get those few extra tenths a lap. That is why I said I was scared to change to far from my setup cause for me its near perfect

This is roughly the CG of my buggy. Full tank no tires. At full tank the front is around 23mm longer. I was just curious to see how the buggy would react if the CG is more centered. I'm sure it will slow to steering down some. The aluminum tower is 1.1 g versus the carbon at .7g. I figured some several ounces would be needed to get it close to center.Any thoughts?

They are a VP-Pro USA option part for the BR-6. We sell lots of light weight options for the buggy.

If you purchased the car new, you should have a tree of inserts in one of the bags. If you need a tree of inserts, let me know. I have them.

Hi folks,

I´m here to relate my last race in AMA-RJ in Brazil. 2º Round of Carioca Championship 2013.
I got qualified in 4º position in the finals, and my car dead in the Start and I start on race throught the box area. The car was great, and still geting positions and takes 5º on about 25 minutes of race. On 32 I got some problem. My car was losing in corners and get dificult to control. I knew that occurs some problem, so I start to reduce time lap to maitain the 5º position. When it finish I look the problem. It was the front sway bar get link loose.
