What kind of surface are you generally running on with this set up? I have gone to laying my shocks right down at the rear as when they were upright I struggled with rear end grip and stability. Will be racing here in a couple of weeks to try out a few more ideas. http://www.mmrx-wakefield.co.uk/22701.html

Usually laying down the shocks gives more stability and side bite. Standing them up makes them work better landing jumps and makes the car more responsive.

the sufaces we generally run on are medium to high grip.I like my cars to be responsive (some call them loose)but it fits me good that way.

@ VPProUSA and Ben Burtle:
wondering, if I can buy these "magic" VP-Pro springs here in Germany too.
tried to find everywhere, but no way so far.
also checked VP-Pro site directly ... NO springs there.
or are these Agama springs in the end ???
would be nice to get any hint.
thanks.

My setup is also very close to you guys. Mine is exactly the same except im running the stock 1.3mm pistons and the purple springs front and rear with 37.5 oil in the front and 35 rear. I think us guys need to make our setups the starting point for new intech drivers. My e buggy setup is basically the same except im using the stock white springs.I have not had much time to race or post as of late. Wife has had me busy building a huge deck for our pool. But my next race will the the roar region 2 race as the tiltyard in 2 weeks. Greg, you guys should come.

Yeah seems odd that after all the testing we have done that we are all so close on setup.Should be a good starting point for everyone. If you get the chance to try the mugen 5 hole shock pistons they are very good in the car.

Yeah Im gonna try them. I also need to order the new progressive springs from Gene. I am gonna go to a small race this weekend to do some testing on the e buggy. Would run the nitro car as well but this track does not allow nitro. I think Im gonna try the 2.4 rear sway bar to just get a slight more mid corner rotation. David, what size drill bit is used to make the 1.4mm holes? 56?
