INTECH RACING - BR-6 BUGGY!!!

I know it colder but I wonder if the oil was too thin and you were getting chassis slap and the rebound was pushing the nose up. I'm running blue CSI with 55/50 with a big jump and she levels out nicely.

It does fine on smaller jumps like doubles. I mainly notice it when im kind of at mid to high throttle after hitting the jump while in the air. I also tried a j concepts wing over the stock one but had the same result. Its not real bad im just being picky as this is the only flaw I have with the car right now

We have been playing with the shocks around here and so far the best feel I got out of the car is 1.4 piston with 37.5 oil in the front and VP-Pro dome piston with the dome up in the rear. They are 1.25 hole and I drilled two holes out to 1.3 with 32.5. I'm Running Intech purple springs in the front with Kyosho blue in the rear. I did get the VP-Pro springs to try in the rear but haven't tried them.
I do have some cars around here from RC Driver reviews and got to playing with the Intech with Hyper 17mm shocks. The stock Hyper shocks and springs feel really good on the car. Might play with them for the heck of it.
I did run the Fioroni pistons and they worked great for about 2-weekends and then the rear just let go. Dunno if it was an o-ring issue or what. Just no pack at all. It was slapping and getting the car way out of shape so I said enough of that.
About the warmest temp's I have raced in so far this year is probably in the 50's.

Thats the issue im having as well greg. I can't seem to get the pack. Im running next to no rebound to 1/4 rebound. The warmest I have ran in so far is the mid 50's and since I have been in the A mains we run late when it gets cold. Im just scared to go to far from where im at cause the car is just about perfect everywhere except when its in the air on a big jump.

Dunno why the trouble from a 15mm shock all the sudden. Losi has been 15mm for years and they worked good, just not enough droop.
You for sure have to downside the jumps. Land out in the flat and it gets unsettled quick.

FYI.. The pistons I machined are doing extremely well outdoors. I'm putting in for them to get machined here at work. They are tighter tolerances so there is less blow by. They are thicker than stock for more friction. They are made from Delrin so they will be consistent for the life of the car and more. I have been focusing on rear stability of the car in bumpy situations and I have gotten my car better than my Mugens were in the bumps. I am working on getting my new setup on my website. It's worth trying.
Look for my setup today. I am still testing but I am thinking I've got it! I'm testing again at Hurricane R/C this weekend.

I am now turning my attention to outdoor dirt for the UK nationals in a couple of weeks, the weather has picked up a bit here and around 50 f last weekend so maybe a similar set up to you guys?
I run mainly astro over here and found 3 3 2 really good in the diffs but looks like you guys run higher on the dirt so will give it a try? Are you running 5 5 4?
Shock wise I have a range of tapered pistons 1.2 1.3 and 1.4 and have purple white and blue intech springs and Kyosho blue and orange.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
PS bad run last weekend! After running every weekend for 6 months with no breakages I managed to break the front diff housing and lost a pin (massive impact into the pit wall) got shunted in the rear by a flat out car and ripped all the screws out of rear diff housing and chassis brace, lost a screw from the castor block in Saturdays final and popped out the driveshaft and the centre to rear shaft came off in Sundays final probably due to the earlier rear ender! to top it off I had a receiver pack up and a front engine bearing go! Oh well I was due a bad one! Only managed 1 qualifier from 5 on Saturday and 1 from 5 on Sunday, luckily it was FTD timing so made 11th Saturday and 12th Sunday from 50 entries, the car had real pace but just had one of those weekends and didnt finish either final! Must put it right for the Nationals!
