My truck has never kept me from the A main and its the driver keeping me from the number 1 LOL
I love the SC10 because we race on a small indoor clay track. 35x75, and I can take a corner from any 22SCT or Durango.
Back to the weight placement, 3oz for me was to much! For me moving the battery all the way forward and having 2.5 oz behind the battery was ideal. 3oz was like driving a dump truck.
Traction was high enough I was wheeling on the track

I know this was covered a bit a week or two back and I also went through a read a bunch of old posts. Just got in my used but pretty new ftsc10. Just ordered some avid springs (the rears just came in on the avid site, they are on batch 3 now but look pretty close to batch 2). Reading through old post looks like yellow f/r was a pretty popular option with 35/30 f/r oil. You guys running avid still finding that to be the case? I run on a medium indoor track. Some tight turns, can get bumpy, clay/loam mixture with dust normally forming on the top.
I will probably start with the yellow f/r and just adjust but wanted to get others thoughts. Thanks in advance

^ from batch 3, given your conditions you could use either. Yellow all around is a good start though. I use the yellows from batch 1, the whites from b1 were too soft.
32.5/30 losi oils. 35 always seems too stiff in the front for me. This goes for v2 and bb shocks.

I also went with around 2 1/2 oz., actually 63 grams. If I figured right you are at 70 grams. I figure 3 oz. for mod, 2 1/2 oz. for stock spec. Mine was planted, but I was running to much juice and getting sideways.

I think I'm going to put the VTS from my 4x4 on my 2wd. I need to keep the spring from the 4x4 for something else, so I'm left needing a spring for the VTS. I see people have been using the one for the B44, but it's out of stock on Amain. Anyone try using any others with success?

I heard (or thought I heard?) you could just use the 4x4 spring, but the "kit" of parts that includes that spring is $12 . . . so I think I may take a chance on trying the AC6587 from the stealth transmission days. Anyone tried that yet? Lengthwise it looks like it might work, but not sure about the diameter.
