At our track we have SC Saturday! And there is always a class to run the Tekno's in. Which BTW there were three of us that made the switch t oTekno. Now it's like wild fire not sure how many new Tekno's are at our track now. All I know is that this new truck has caused pro 4 to grow a little. NOD!

its the same here at trackside. supposedly last year this time we had two full heats(compared to stock short course where we always have 4 heats at minimum and ZERO heats of mod shortcourse). Last night we had 6 4x4's so that was a bit better. We will usually get 2-3 and then maybe get 2-3 mod shortcourse. We would then just run them together like a full-size LeMans series race and keep the class points seperate. Had a couple guys put some 4x4's together with the 2.0 coming out so is nice to see more coming to race. Qualified second in 4x4 but took the win last night. Qualified 1st in stock s.c. and took second due to the bashing in that first corner. Guys in the back like to go WOT into that turn even though everyone up front is slowing down for the hairpin. Did get a accused of cheating though in stock. I asked to be teched(I am lucky that the shop I race at is run by Scotty Ernst) and I knew I was legal. Gotta laugh at that stuff, haha

For as long as I can recall, I've always built my shocks as suggested in UN's vid. I highly recommend sub'ing to his page too, as he has some other very good vidz, especially if you also drive an AE B44 series
The one other thing, I can not recommend enough, is to look up GMK Supply's Shock Snot...IMHO, far and away better than Green Slime.

In my area, my "home" track club races will see anywhere between 6 and 15 regulars...just depends on who feels like showing up. Trophy races, it is not uncommon to see full ( 10 per ) D Mains or deeper. I'm planning on hitting up the ShowDown @ RCE/Fitchburg, MA this w/end, it would not surprise me to see mid Alphabet...but I also heard recently that mains will only be 8 per...6 qual direct, two bumps. Not sure if that's true.

I got kyoshos on mine now and they fit fine. trying the 1.3mm x 8 hole pistons.

rc8b 16mm springs work HOWEVER the rears will be too long. you can use the fronts however.

Default Which shock option?

In the middle of my new 410 build. Finished last night up to the point of shock building. Whats the difference between the shock styles and what is best for an indoor clay track, a little bumpy with a few decent size jumps?

I've used mp9, ve8 and rc8b pistons. They all fit fine.

Its it a struggle to get a class together on club race nights for any of you?
Paul, I'm surprised more people don't run 4x4 down there, considering the desert is the home of the Short Course scene. If you need a place to stay up here in the PNW I've always got a place for you.

I also run occasionally at TRCR with my SCT410, so I guess there's 4. I haven't been out for Short Course Saturday, though, just Tuesday nights. How are the SCT410s doing against the ProLites?

That's a great tip. Thanks Shark.

I can second the recommendation for Shock Snot. It works very well.
