Would be nice to know if/when the .2 kit will be coming. I don't want to buy one kit to have to spend $100 more in upgrades to get to the hopefully new kit's specs.

I am in a similar situation. I have an RTR kit that is halfway to being a FT truck after upgrading a lot of parts. I don't want to put anymore $$ into it if a new FT truck is coming soon. Probably cost me less to buy a new kit vs. continuing to upgrade my RTR...

75/27 using a 17.5 Shurr Speed works pretty well....the motor heat is not a problem

Well, it will probably be announced in the next 3-4 weeks. And it will probably look exactly like the t4.1 with sc tires, bumper and chassis. There have been no pictures of drastic changes. So I would not expect any.

Yeah. Don't expect major updates. Just the aluminum bellcranks, gullwing arms and other options will be nice.

if you really want a sc10.2, buy a t4. Put the sc10 bumpers, tires, body and rear hexes on the front and done. Most of you have tires and a body already. bumpers are cheap on ebay and blam, sc10.2 or you can wait 6-8 weeks.

The new Avid Delrin Ball big bore shock mounts look cool. Nice new hop up for the SC and Big Bore line of AE cars. I have really liked my Avid stuff on the SC10 (Bell Cranks, Hexes, Bearings). That is one of the draws of running the SC10 is the amount of hop ups being put out by Avid and JConcepts.

Is that all the difference is? Thats pretty tempting. I am getting by with my slightly upgraded rtr but I am really looking forward to buying a .2 without having to spend the upgrades on my truck. thanks for giving me another option

Isn't the Sc10 Chassis a different length than the T4,T4.1, or T4.2?

76/26 seems to be pretty good with the triad and 17.5 motor

Are aluminum bell-cranks really necessary? Personally I try to avoid anything aluminum. Unless it's like caster blocks or rear hub carriers.

we dont need alum casters or hubs. The steering rack is alum to reduce the flex and make the car/truck more consistent. Really only useful on higher bite tracks, but we all think we need it. But...My kids alum rack broke 3 servos, so I put the servo saver back in. If you still hit pipe often, I think the alum race will not be your friend. The alum servo mounts are great, the alum front hinge pin is nice, but the rest is meh for 90% of us. IF you run the alum rack, make sure you have a high quality ALL metal gear servo. Otherwise issues will pop up.

true, my sc10 chassis was 8 dollars shipped on ebay new with ubrace, battery strap and ball studs. My sc10 was originally a t4. So i have already been down this road. I like to convert from t4 to sc10 and back depending on the class I want to run that weekend. IF you already have an sc10. you cant take all the sc10 parts you have and mount them to the t4, take the left over t4 parts and put them on your old sc10 and sell the old rtr as a t4 roller with a clear body, lol.
