Hobbyking 60A ESC
A friend of mine told me about these. Has anyone tried one or heard anything about them? They appeared to be a copy of the Hobbywing Xerun 60amp ESC. I'm curious if they run the same Hobbywing Software by any chance?
If they do they look awesome for the price!

i got one of those on the way. im going to pair it to a novak ballistic 10.5 in my stadium truck. shoudl be here early next week.
i run the 120a hobbyking in my 4wd SC. good little esc. only problem i have with it is it occasionally looses throttle range calibration(like once every 2 months.) like this
http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...s_Car_ESC.html
i also have this one in my 2wd SC mated to a tacon 8.5(really more like a 10.5)
http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...ESC_1_10_.html
trackstar ones are good too.
avoid the quick ones liek these

I have two of them in my possesion, one in my B4, and I'm about to put the other in my ECX Boost. I'm guessing that if this isn't an actual hobbywing ESC, then it's certainly a copy.
The B4 is running a 17.5T Trackstar with a 69 spur and 29 pinion. The motor with this combination is barely warm 6min qual, and so is the ESC. I've got a 1257 servo in there, and the BEC seems up to the task. Keep in mind, however, that I am a beginner, so I don't know if I'm putting enough demand on my components yet.
It uses the same exact looking Hobbywing software. So much so that I went looking for the Hobbywing software to see if I could get the ESC to work with it (I'm using the USB dongle). I couldn't find it anywhere online. If anyone is willing to share it, I'd be more than willing to test it out for them.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm running a very similar setup with the same motor also. My motor has never gone over 41 degrees after a 10 minute final. I've found the naturally like a bit of boost and timing as they run very cool. I run 17.5 blinky in my b4.1 so I can't use boost but have the punch in my esc maxed out and the motor still runs cool.
Anyhow back on topic of the ESC. Here is a link to the Hobbywing software. This is what you will need: http://www.hobbywing.com/product_show.asp?id=218
If you want to try it out that would be fantastic. To me they are definitely a copy as you mentioned

If you want a very nice powerful esc for a good price go to brushless hobbies.com and check out the lt4.
