i was thinking that this was just me, but i see it in another opinion, casue i ran proline on my sc10, and they seem to where out soo fast compared to the stock slash tires i run on my blitz, so i was like ima try a dif brand...so i went to jconcepts and they seemed to last a while longer that the prolines...i still use the proline carvers up front tho...but no proline in the rear for me.

Panther Rattler clay compound with zip grip free on a moist indoor clay. Wear out quick but grip like a son-of-a-gun.

I only run Proline.

I've run Suburbs, Holeshots, Slicers and Ions and various compounds.

This track was super high grip smooth indoor clay, the tires felt great.

lol, I would love prolines if I got them cheap or free, lol. In all seriousness. I always felt like the proline tires had good traction. But they always wore faster than other brands. I recently switched from Holeshots to DD'd on my buggy and the DD's last about 30% longer. But again, if they were free, I would love them all day, lol.

I don't get'em free, but I do get a discount.

I used to run AKA prior and honestly I prefer the Prolines a lot. They wear a lot better for me personally.

But mini pins in general, just by nature, don't wear very well. :\

Default what to buy? or wait?

so, this is my first season of racing and im having a blast, currently driving an sc10 4x4ft. love it, but 2wd is coming on strong. what are the bare minimum i need to do if i were to buy an sc10? i know hexes are a must-not into having special fr/ rr tires. are big bores that valuable? vts? steering link? do i buy a kit and spend another-$150-200 on upgrades, or wait and hope that a .2 version is coming out that addresses all of these issues? also, what would be a good motor. our track was just changed. smallish and very technical. dog-leg straight and technical infield. any guidance is greatly accepted!
