Just finishing up the build...



Does anyone have any info about the bag of updated parts that came in the kit? Nothing in the build docs. Do I really need to put in these outdrives or will the normal ones be OK?
I did use the updated ackerman plate.

If the ones that were there are from a first run kit, they're still fine to run, just watch them for wear as they wear/notch quite quickly. I'd say use what you got, break in the diffs, do a couple runs, then when you rebuild the diffs to get all the break in stuff out of them, use the updated ones if you see any wear on the ones you already installed.

Can someone explain why the lateral (short) Velcro straps have the buckles towards the outside of the chassis rather than the center?

It doesn't make any difference which way you put them in. I have mine with the buckle in the middle.

I redid the wires from ESC to battery. Still need to shrink the heat shrink.

I also did the wires to run two 2S in series. I have to put heat shrink and then I'm done. The batteries are Turnigy Nano Tech 6A 65C.

i have searched and have come up with nothing...
i would like to see what the following is..
toe/camber with the inserts.. (insterts which way are what toe?)*on the setup sheet is 1-3 the degree?.. 1 to 3 degree?.. just having a little bit of a hard time understanding that.

SAME with the rear anti squat.? what is what.. *with tekno inserts*..
seems to me that the setup sheet end is soooo random... tough to get a (MAX) setup on the car..
what is max droop? what is max ride height?.. those would be extremely helpful...
i could of mis-worded the previous statements but i think you guys know what i am talking about.....
bottom line is the hinge pin inserts (compared to the setup sheets/the manual are just not spot on..)

ps... i have ran losi before and drove my brothers mugan. and there is almost no comparsion... well somewhat... this car is like a 10th scale 4wd.. does everything you want it to do when you want it to... best car on the market in my opinion...
the wear has been (good) still have the old outdrives in along with the shafts.... i have been racing indoor with it for the past 4/5 months and it is awesome.. going to motorama and trying to get a good setup on it.. if anyone wants to share advise on (motorama) *i have never been there before* please share.. thanks again and i cannont say enough about this car.. awesome in every way.. Where u from? I will be at motorama with my teknos! Not really sure what u are asking just you tube droop setting and ride height sure all will be explained there more easily than we can type an explanation

iam from pittsburgh pa... what do you mean about you dont understand what i am saying?.. iam looking for what the droop and kick up degree is with the inserts....

The droop is adjusted with the droop screws. The actual numerical degrees of angle in the arms based on the inserts doesn't matter (toe or kickup). If you need more kickup put the inserts with the dots down in the hinge pin brace behind the front gearbox, opposite for less. Don’t worry about numbers tune the buggy based on what you need.

Were you racing at McCullough's at the Race Against Cancer? I had the EB48 that was there. Unfortunately I haven’t been able to get to the indoor track yet this winter and won't be till near the end of Feb. If they didn't start so early it would be easier. Too many other races and tracks closer to me.

I would like to see Tekno make some half step inserts to fine tune the setup when I want a little less of a change.
