What do guys recommend for improving acceleration to clear triples? I have 7,7,5 in the diffs. The rest of the setup is stock. I tried 10k in the center and it helped, but it is not at the same level of others at the track.

I am running a 1950kv motor with a 16tooth pinion and have plenty of power, I wonder if I should go down to a 14 or 15 tooth.

I'm gonna have to agree with you.....Pink is starting to grow on me when it comes to R/C Bodies in general. That's a wicked paint job too!

i turned it lock to lock and seems like there would be plenty of clearance with this particular setup, i do see what you are saying though, thanks.

any loose track setups? about everything i have found is med bite. its a med size indoor
track that is usually slick. first outing with car not too fun. right now car is built to spec per manual. 7 5 3 and 450/350 in shocks. i did change antisquat to middle and shortened front camber links. also flipped pivot ball on knuckles. i was running near new ss megabytes. that is what most fast guys run on this track. i am in the end of video red body white wheels. just have to crawl thru corners otherwise rear end comes right around. any help is appreciated.

Smaller rear sway bar for more side bite, no anti-sguat and move the rear hubs forward...........

I have plenty of grip, the approach is certainly a big factor. I will try to reducer my RX8 limiter and see if that helps.

I put the Austin Blair set up on the Tekno this weekend. Not so good for me. I am sure it could work in some places. I felt the buggy was very lazy for my driving style. Going back to that outdoor set up on the Tekno website.

Patrick the setup I gave you is what I used at the last points race and won with. Other than testing some pistons it is the setup I'm going to start with this Friday. Try all the changes and let me know if it helps.

I just finished building my first Tekno buggy. After buying the SCT-410 and being sooooooo impressed with it, I just had to get this. I can't wait till practice on Wednesday to break it in.

That's the original Ackerman Bar. The newer one is beefier and reinforced in the spot that broke. Same part number. Only the original batch had the one pictured, all others since have the more heavy duty one.
