Can anyone explain what angling the front wish bones back does? I.e replacing the front suspension holders spacer with a 2mm from a 1.5mm.

I think you are talking about pin sweep. With the pins, for lack of a better term "toed out", that is called positive pin sweep. This will cause the car to turn in harder for what I have noticed. Negative pin sweep does the opposite. Basically positive pin sweep is like toe gain into a turn.

I have used it to numb out the steering . It gives it the feel of less steering by making the rear more planted . In slower areas of a track to me it turns tighter (smaller turning radius with shorter wheel base ) but thru chacanes I don't like it makes it seem lazy
When I ran outdoors I used this a lot to gain rear traction and have more steering in slower areas of the track

Yes thats what i mean, but obviously then putting your toe back to your desired setting.

From those two responses i am still unsure as one says more steering and one less

By placing more weight over the front tires u loose responsiveness in steering by making the tires have to work harder to move the car from left to right . Now at lower speeds it will give more steering cause u shortened the wheel base . And ur removing weight from the rear making it have less weight that can transfer wile cornering which usually helps keep it in line ... now I'm sure theirs a point where u can remove or add too much weight to one end to reverse this thought but I've swept my arms back 3mm ff/1.5mm fr and this concept held true to that extent

I think it makes the car feel more numb at low speed.

I believe thats what i have on my USGT car, still using EA's Birds setup. BTW thanks for all the help you gave me on my T4 last sunday. Every time you suggested something, it improved my fast lap by .10.

If you have the time this weekend would you be interested in driving my GT car? Its pretty good now, but the rear is washing out in the fast chicane and I have traction additive down both sides of the chassis after the race

Nobody really gave a solid answer to the shock foam question. What does it change with that installed or not?

It adds rebound and traction is what Hagberg has said he feels on his car when testing it.

I'm using a 95% of EA's setup on matts gt car and its working great . That thing is so easy to drive . Almost 2 easy but for a 11yr old setting fast laps every weekend kind of speaks for it self..lol

I worked hard on that setup last year! LOL Mike Haynes helped a lot too at the birds with it. It was super easy to drive for sure but carried great speed!

Lol tks . I removed rear sway bar( with is driving style it got a little loose sometimes when he snatched the wheel) ,and added some droop.

Is this with it installed?

Yes... it (the foam) adds rebound (foam takes the place of air inside the cap.)
