0* hubs.

I still have the V2 shocks with the Avid 12mm spring conversion, stock pistons, 35F/30R.

I don't have an indoor track here to run on, I only run on low to medium grip outdoor, bumpy, rutted, loose. When it's wet it's got okay grip but they run it dry a lot.

Do you normally take your SC to the bathroom with you?

I am currently running 3/2 limiters as well in my Big Bores. Seeing if I have this correct.... Going to 5 in the front effects the weight transfer to the rear on power and the 3 in the rear would effect the weight transfer to the front off power. Running on high bite clay and I can see my truck not staying as flat as other trucks on the track in turns. Trying to get the truck on pace a little more.

jeff,
Thats exactly my problem and im loosing some time in certain corners, truck wants to dive in and stall and i loose my momentum,if i had the 5 in the front it will keep the front from diving so much and drive much flatter rather then diving so hard.

haha thats just where i had sufficient light to take the picture.

This has been a common mod on the sc10 and t4 for a long time. Makes a massive difference and adds all kinds of rear traction and stability.

Just follow any of the most current Maifield/Cav/Paul Wynn setups and you'll be dialed.

What is everyone using to locate the proper location of that 4th hole to drill?

Default SC10 FAIL!!!

Glad this happened at practice and not the race last Friday.

I'm half tempted to go for a 22SCT... no pun intended.

Bolt another shock tower on lining up the holes and drill. On the picture below the two screws are in the middle and inside hold on the tower in the back so this lines up the outside hole on the tower in the front as a guide. This will put your 4th hole on the same virtual line as all the others. I do another one where I dropped the 4th hole down to be more centered in the tower arm but I have not had a chance to test which one "feels" best yet.

How in the hell did you break it in half? lol

I race mine on 1/8 scale tracks and do the majority of the jumps and have done no such thing.

No one under normal driving conditions does that. I have never ever ever in 10 years on the B4/t4/sc10 platform did that. I have hit steel poles, walls and 8th scales. A break like that was earned. The 22sct chassis probably would have bent or broke many other things with he same crashes. That is by no means a common issue.

That is the way I did mine, but I have issues with the shock cap binding. it would be best to bring the hole into a more centered position. And the problem only becomes worst with BB shocks. If you do it that way, and the binding happens, be prepared to dremel the tower to make room for the shock cap.

I broke my chassis in the same place. Its not a chassis issue...driver issue. I keep trying a triple I had no business trying.

I am having way too much trouble adjusting to how much these things roll and how much steering they have. I find that I go from being able to use most, if not all, of my steering throw on my buggy to being able to use maybe 25% of my steering throw on the truck. I even turned my dual rate down to 75 or so to limit the steering. I gave up trying to tune it and just drove it. Spent more time laughing while driving than anything

This is the setup I ran. Used Gold Barcodes, 7.5T motor geared 19/84.
