I velcro the sides of the body to the nerf bars.

Not sure. I did the foam washers but noticed more of a problem when I upgraded to FT aluminum clamping rear hexes. The FT hexes seem to be a bit bigger than the stock plastic ones so now my rear wheels stick out past the fender well on the body. Anytime my truck squats (for a jump) or lands my body is banging on the tires

I am new to 2wd 1/10 coming from nitro. Got an FT sc10 and will be running a revtech 17.5 with MMP. Can you guys list some of setups who run this motor to get the most out of it. Running on a small tight track with hard packed dusty top dirt. I have an 81t, 84T, and 75T spur now with 21, 23, 25 pinions. Looking for what gearing, timing, etc you guys run. Thanks.

I kinda like the Proline Blockades for generic track tire. But you proably want to ask the guys at the track.

People with FT trucks or FT rear aluminum hexes; does your truck body hit the rear tires at the fender wells when suspension compresses? I'm not talking about on the inside flat part, but the tires stick out past the body now, and the vertical piece of the fender well hits the tires.

I recently upgraded my RTR SC10 to FT rear aluminum hubs and aluminum clamping hexes. Since adding the hexes I have a noticeably wider rear wheel base, the stock plastic hexes don't make the wheels stick out past the body.

Should I just trim up the wheel well so the tire doesn't hit?

My friend has the same issue with the avid hexes. Do the stock plastic ones strip out that easy?

Mine didn't strip, they worked fine. I just wanted the clamping hexes so I could leave them on the axle instead of them always sticking inside my wheels. I did have issues with stripping axle pins (stock ones) with the stock hexes, so I also got solid pins with the aluminum hexes to eliminate that problem.

I have the Avid hexes and my tires do not hit the body. Make sure your wheels are the correct offset.

That was my other thought. I think I have the Proline +3mm hex wheels, maybe that is it? I'll put my stock wheels on tonight and see what they look like.
