If you do ever re-do it, I suggest you look at the 13 gauge TQ wire. It seems to be the perfect product for this application. Thin, light, efficient, flexible, easy to route, cost effective, and they ship real quick. You can get 3 foot of wire for $8:

Get 6 foot of black wire, store it in your toolbox and never think about it again.

Once this kit is built, I want to run the motor wires under the top deck for a clean look. Do I have to do anything to the wires so that they don't rub on the drive shaft. Keep in mind I don't have the kit in front of me since it won't be here until Tuesday, so it may be obvious once the kit is built.

That looks fine.

Good enough for now but will probably redo it when the wire comes.
Thanx Cameron, heard that about a year ago and forgot till you pointed out not to cover posts.

@ UN4RACING - Really nice videos, thanks for taking the time to make them.
@Fq06 - I think that 14 gauge wire would be absolutely fine, but if you don't have any, the way you soldered that wire on ( I assume that is 12 gauge in the pic) should be fine, though I would shrink wrap the posts when you're done just to make sure they don't short out.

Supposedly just ever so slightly too thick on the 44.2 VTS slipper. I've used them before on my 44.1; not worth the extra money, performed and sounded exactly the same as the AE spurs to me. I had better luck with the Robinson Racing aluminum pinion gears instead. Honestly though, a fresh spur and pinion with correct mesh will be fine too.
