Haven't broken and axle, arm, nothing. Did crack the rear body mount support, but shoe gooed that a long time ago and it hasn't moved.

a very well designed and built truck
Dang, I guess I am having just really bad luck so far or I really suck a lot more at driving than I think haha. It has been a learning curve after not racing an RC car in 20+ years.

RPM vs. Stock Bumber. I got my truck 2nd hand and it came with a RPM bumper. I purchased a stock bumper set to run on the truck after feeling the RPM bumper just "seemed" heavy hanging over the front wheels. Now I put them on the scale to compare. The RPM front bumper weighed in at 3.5 oz. The SC10 stock bumper weight was 1.5 oz. This was done on a cheep dietary scale I used for oval racing back in the day. 2 oz off the front of the truck I would bet would cause some difference in handling. Going to test this weekend and see. Will take the front bumper with me to try the RPM one as well.

Which bumper does your truck have? I was planning to get the RPM bumper/brace for my new chassis, among other upgraded parts...

What was the fix to the different blleed screws? It annoys me that the front and rears are different. If they are 2mm I might have some around here

What do you guys think, is my chassis still usable with a new bulkhead and RPM bumper/brace? I think it should be good, at least while I am practicing and learning to setup the truck.

That's very interesting. I've got some "dope dealer" scales (haha) and just got my new RPM front bumper and skid plate. I'll definitely weigh them against the stock ones.

I'm really glad you posted about the RPM stuff. I've never been a big fan of their stuff for various reasons, but, THIS is a very important variance IMHO.

Nice. Seals the deal for me. I thought of getting one, but I never liked how far it stuck out from the body. Seems like it would dig in at some spots. I don't know if the approach angle is different from stock but it looks like it is.

My front/rear suspension is basically the Maifield jconcepts setup but I use -1* camber front/rear with red/green springs, 35/30 shock oils, and barcodes.
interesting,i will give this a try instead of putting lead weights to the front end, anyway i know the sc10 got a lot of steering, question to the guys that used to race at carpet track ,whats the best tire for the front? ......which front tire work best.....i tried the losi eclipse all around which it suits my driving but thinking to change the front tire, please any input here,thanks....

It is very good if you hit stuff. It flexes on impact. And it braces the front of the chassis. But it us heavier. It us a durability part. Not a racing bumper

If you are hitting things so hard that you break the stock bumper chances are you would have broken the RPM bumper or something attached to the RPM bumper.
