going from memory on the various b4s I have had, at some of the turnbuckle lengths the threaded part of the turnbuckle going into the actual cup may flex some at certain lengths. Is this the part that doesn't feel sturdy to you? If so, I found it to normal. You could use a longer cup, but if you need shorter lengths then that can sometimes be a problem if it grips too much.
Again, just from what I recall in the past with a variety of B4s I had.

So I finally got the rear end of my buggy locked down. So much so that it pulls the front end off the ground on the straights and elevation changes. Look at my set up and tell me if I am just wierd
or its close to what some of you are running. I just want to see where I stand to people who have been running 1/10 buggy for more than 2 months. Keep in mind this car was an B4 RTR that is now in the upgrade as I break it stage.
Front
35 wt oil, #1 pistons, middle hole on the tower, inner on the arm
camber link inner on the hub and inner on the tower with 1 washer
2* camber with soft JC 4 rib tires open cell foams
Rear
30 wt oil, #1 pistons, inner hole on the tower, inner on the arm
camber link on the outer hol of the hub, inner hole on the u-brace with 3 washers
1* camber, rear tires are now slicks, were M4 Fuzzies.
I am running a gear diff with 3k, 10.5 motor, RS Pro, 1.5 oz behind the battery and a full size pack.
I like the way it feels now. I can run it in hot and she will stick as long as Im in the groove. The track is extreamly high bite so everyone is running worn out bar style tires to slicks. Fastest lap is a 13.7 in a 4wd Buggy. My fastest seems to be a 14.7 and I average about a 15.8 for a six minute qual. If I can get a little more consistant, I my just end up with a win.
Anything look wierd to yall?

People normally run outer on the front arm.. going inner messes with the standard setup for droop limiting washers under the piston(normally 3 front and 2 rear). Also #2 pistons all around is more common, or #2 front and #1 rear for more pack(assuming 1 has the smaller holes, it might be 3.. been a while since i ran standard bore shocks). Good luck and have fun
