As shoddy of stuff GM puts on their trucks, they might as well not!!!

I'm seriously about to pull the trigger on a EB48 and a SCT410 for the 2013 season.
Yeah, RX8/4600kv pushes the box stock setup around great. Here's a video that was just posted. Check it out:

Random question but could I convert this truck to a extremely light 1/8 buggy setup with just some wheel adapters, a body and the wing mount? It would be pretty cool to run two classes with it! Thanks and either way I'm probably buying this truck when it hits shelves!

What are my chances in seeing the matching set-up sheet for this car in the viddy?

I run my EB48 at 6.2 lbs ready to race. I could easily get it below 6lbs with some more options, but that is just stock with a light weight electronics setup.

Here is a pic of it at about 6.4lbs. In this pick I have a 6600mah lipo and a 550 4 pole. I'm now running a 4400mah shorty and 540 4 pole.

Do you know where I can refrence that rule change? According to the roar rule book ALL brushless motors are only allowed a 2 pole rotor.

Where do you see that?
I am referring to sections 8.8.4.4.2 and 8.8.6.3.

You could but it wont be as wide as other 1/8 buggies as they had to narrow it to meet ROAR SCT specs .....

@ Breakin2 , the Traxxas Slash 4x4 comes with a body , sounds like its more your speed anyway .....

Thumbs up

How many mm off would it be width wide, from the specs it only seems like an unnoticeable difference. Thanks and that lightweight setup looks real good!

Trust me, I've probably owned twice as many cars as you have, including (GASP!) an EB48 that actually came with a body.

There are a couple different reasons for that though: 1) a buggy body can be fit in the box and not change the size drastically if at all, 2) it was a brand new platform that didn't have any aftermarket body support.
