The stock Ws7 can't even come close to this motor in my opinion.
+1
I did the same with the carb. The long needle smooths out the "on/off" switch type throttle response of the short needle carb. You will also gain more run time with the long needle carb. Ran it in my mp9 and it would rev to the moon down the straight and still had the grunt out of the corners. The only thing I didn't like about it was the orange head.
You will not regret getting the CRE F11

the Proto 7 is based off the Kangaroo piston/sleeve......... it is basically a P5 XLT with a very altered kangaroo piston/sleeve.......... The results are an awesome engine.....

I drop the sleeve then cut the intake ports to give it a more appropriate blowdown timing....In the the end the exhaust timing is in the offroad range with a more appropriate blowdown... works very well...

hey neal have you considered a proto 7 similar project, but with the o.s. speed xz-r? maybe a mix of your clocked bo2 and the speed xz-r... a 7 port clocked ninja? sounds like a bad ass motor to me.

I beat you to that one. But since Great Plains won't give them an account it probably won't happen.

I've been working on that one but I keep getting side tracked lately. Behind the scenes, it's been nuts 6 weeks earlier than last years rush. Neals backlogged by a week right now and it doesn't look like its going to get better for a while.

Rob maybe you could buy the P/S set of the R and grab a BO2 case? It's pretty cool owning a one off engine that nobody else in the world has

Big Tex took over 4 months complete, and well worth the wait.
Just like custom ordering a German sports car and having to wait 9 months for delivery.........
